Hello and welcome!

Today I'd like to offer you one of the greatest gifts,

The gift of acceptance.

Acceptance of what is,

Of what we feel and what's going on on the inside.

Start with making sure that your body is in a comfortable position,

Maybe seated upright,

Lying down.

Just allow yourself to land in this present moment,

Inviting in a few deep breaths and feel how your body is getting heavier and heavier with every breath you take.

Feel the surface underneath you.

Where is this emotion located in your body?

Can you feel it more in one place than another?

And how does it feel?

Is the emotion a subtle whisper or is it a more strong and present emotion?

Is it moving or is it still?

Can you feel the shape of it?

Just allowing yourself to notice what's going on in your body,

In your nervous system.

What is present in the here and now without changing or adjusting anything,

Just allowing and noticing.

I'd like to invite you to place your hands above the feeling and if you can't locate it to a special place,

Please place the hands on top of your heart and your belly.

And just following the in-breath and the out-breath like waves through the body.

I'd like to offer you to whisper to the emotion,

Maybe deep within yourself or out loud.

I feel you,

I hear you,

I see you and I'm here for you.

Just notice,

Is the emotion changing?

Maybe changing intensity or form,

Moving in the body?

Is there something else coming up?

Just greet everything with acceptance and gently whisper,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Thank you,

I love you,

I feel you,

I hear you,

I see you and I accept you.

Thank you for everything you're doing,

For trying to protect me.

Allowing the breath to move in and out,

Gently connecting with yourself and slowly arriving back in the present moment.

Allowing yourself to start inviting some gentle movements through the fingers and the toes.

Allowing yourself to do a bit of stretch and slowly come out of this meditation in your own time and pace.
