Welcome to this meditation.
A soft self-compassion practice.
For anyone who soaks up the feelings of everyone around them.
Anyone with a Pisces moon or strong Pisces placements.
So,
Settle yourself in somewhere soft and quiet.
Let your body feel fully supported.
Whether you're sitting up or lying down.
Breathe gently and easily at your own pace.
And perhaps right now the moon is transiting through Pisces.
Or perhaps there are other planets there.
Perhaps the moon is in another watery sign.
The moon in our chart is our emotional inner world.
And a watery moon in Pisces is the most sensitive and porous of all.
If this is you or if this is something you resonate with.
You'll know that your boundaries are naturally thin.
Which means that you feel not only your own emotions,
But everyone else's too.
You might walk into a room.
And absorb a mood that was never yours to carry.
This is a deep gift of empathy.
But it can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
And unsure where you end and others begin.
So this practice is about gently coming home to your own gentle waters.
Let yourself relax.
In the physical space that is your body.
Take a slow breath in and release it gently and imagine your own feelings as a body of calm,
Clear water.
And if Pisces is the ocean.
Perhaps.
Here is a small inlet.
Protected from the tides.
Just yours.
These few moments you are not connected to anyone else's tide.
Just Hero.
And now in these waters.
Gently notice what you have absorbed today that was never yours.
Maybe someone else's stress.
Someone else's sadness.
Someone else's mood.
You do not have to carry those.
With each out breath.
Imagine letting them drift away.
Like mist lifting off water.
Maybe trickling back to the greater tide.
Not yours.
You can let them go and what is left is you.
Your own gentle feelings.
Turn towards them softly.
The way you would turn towards a tired child.
There is no need to fix anything.
Just be kind.
Say quietly.
I am allowed to protect my own peace.
And I am allowed to rest.
Feel how much lighter you are when you carry only your own water.
This is not selfish.
A sponge that is never wrung out cannot soak up anything more.
Letting go is how you keep your gift.
Stay in your own calm waters a little longer.
And when you're ready.
Take a soft breath.
And come back gently.
Carrying only what is truly yours.
Thank you so much for sharing your space with me today.
Have a wonderful day.
