This gentle tapping meditation is designed to help you release the guilt and discomfort that can arise when receiving, whether it’s love, support, rest, or abundance. Through EFT tapping and affirmations, you’ll begin to dissolve old conditioning that says you must earn or justify your worth. This practice creates space for softness, allowing you to receive with openness, trust, and self-compassion. It’s a beautiful reminder that receiving is not selfish - it’s sacred.

Welcome to today's session.

I'm going to lead you through an EFT tapping practice to help you enable yourself to receive without guilt.

So if you've never done any kind of tapping before,

Don't worry.

I'll tell you all the tapping points as we reach them.

So try not to overthink it because you really can't get this wrong.

Take a moment to sit comfortably and take some deep breaths.

As you welcome yourself more deeply into this space,

Think about how you currently feel around your ability to receive,

Whether that's love,

Money,

Support or abundance.

Do you carry any discomfort or maybe guilt or shame or simple disbelief?

Rate this feeling on a scale of 1 to 10,

Where 10 is filled with absolute ability to receive and 1 is an inability and a feeling of scarcity.

Which number feels right to you today?

While I'm leading you through the practice,

You can let my voice carry the energy of each phrase,

Or if it feels good you can repeat the phrases either out loud or in your mind,

Whatever feels best to you.

Feel free to modify them to fit your personal experience.

Okay,

We're going to start with the setup statement,

And during this we tap on the side of the hand,

Either hand is fine,

The part that's known as the karate chop point.

Even though I feel guilty about receiving,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though I sometimes think I have to earn everything,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though it feels safer to give than to receive,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Now we're going to work through the negative feelings you might currently be holding,

Before we move on to reframing them.

So here we go,

We'll start by tapping gently on the inner edge of your eyebrow,

Either left hand side or right hand side for the whole practice is fine.

Tap on the inner edge now.

I feel guilt when I receive.

A tap on the side of the eye.

It feels uncomfortable to accept without giving something back.

A part of me believes I have to earn it all.

Tap beneath your nose.

I've learned that giving is good,

But receiving is selfish.

Tap on your chin.

But I'm tired of that belief.

Tap your collarbone.

I wonder what it would feel like to receive with grace.

Tap under your arm on the side of your chest.

To open to abundance without guilt or shame.

Tap the top of your head.

I am safe to receive.

Moving into the second round,

We're beginning to shift our beliefs now.

Back to the inner edge of your eyebrow.

Maybe I don't have to earn love or money or support.

Tap the side of your eye.

Maybe I'm worthy just as I am.

Tap under your eye.

I give from my heart and I can receive the same way.

Tap under your nose.

I let go of guilt.

Tap on your chin.

I let go of shame.

Tap your collarbone.

I choose to feel safe and open to receiving.

Tap under your arm.

I allow myself to be supported.

Tap the top of your head.

I allow abundance to flow to me freely.

And for this third round,

We're going to affirm the work that we've done.

So back to the inner edge of your eyebrow.

I am open to receiving miracles.

The side of your eye.

It's safe to receive love.

Your eye.

It's safe to receive money.

Under your nose.

It's safe to receive kindness.

Tap your chin.

I was born to receive.

Tap your collarbone.

I receive with joy and gratitude.

Arm.

I am part of the natural flow of giving and receiving.

The top of your head.

I am open.

I am worthy.

I am ready.

Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

And gently place your hands over your heart and say to yourself,

I am open to receiving.

I am free from guilt.

I am supported and that's okay.

Another deep breath in and blow it all the way out.

And now check in with yourself again.

Has your level of discomfort shifted?

If it has,

That's great.

And if it's the same or only a little different,

You can do another couple of rounds on any lingering emotions and you can change the words if you need to so that they reflect exactly what you're feeling or your own limiting beliefs.

Please come back to this practice any time you need to.

I hope this has helped you to begin rewiring your perception of receiving all the abundance that the universe has lined up for you.

Thank you so much for sharing your space with me today.

Have a wonderful day.
