Welcome to this meditation,
A place to soften.
And the intention for this meditation is to create some space for you to just land.
And be exactly as you are.
So as we start this practice,
I'll invite you to perhaps take a moment to taking the space around you So one way you could do this might be to start at one side of the room.
Just slowly allowing your eyes your head and your neck to move all together.
Slowly scanning from one side of the room to the other.
Just taking in the space around you Perhaps noticing colors.
Light or shadow.
Maybe being curious about whether you're being drawn to certain parts of the space around you and then whenever you feel ready allowing your attention to come inwards and you can do this with your eyes open,
Eyes closed,
Soft gaze,
Whatever feels comfortable to you allowing your attention to come into the points of contact with the surface beneath you.
And just allowing a sense of the support.
That this surface is offering you.
And allowing a sense.
The support and the holding that you're offering back these points of contact.
If it feels comfortable you might allow your attention to come into the breath moving in the body.
Seeing where you notice that sense of breathing in and breathing out.
Expansion on the inhale.
Subsiding on the exhale.
You might allow the out-breath to be an invitation to soften down a little each time you breathe out.
Softening down into those points of contact Really trusting that surface to hold your weight.
Letting go each time you're breathing out of a little more effort of holding.
Letting go of a little tension.
Inviting a bit more space each time you're breathing out.
And you might start to imagine that the air around you is filled with kindness.
And permission.
And care.
And as you breathe that in,
Allowing that sense of kindness coming in.
And on the out-breath sending that through to your whole body.
Breathing it in and sending it down through to the tips of your fingers.
The tips of your toes.
Just allowing a sense of kindness and permission to saturate your being.
And if you notice any resistance showing up allowing that to be welcome to breathing kindness around and into the resistance There's no right or wrong.
Accepting our experience in this moment as it is.
And I'm going to offer some phrases to you your body,
Your mind,
Your heart,
And you can just allow them to land however they want to.
You might imagine that I'm offering them like a pebble into still water,
You can just allow whatever ripples out.
Succumb.
You are worthy and wonderful just as you are.
In this moment,
You can just be.
There is no right or wrong way to be.
You are worthy and wonderful,
Just as you are.
Just taking a moment to rest in this place of softness and permission being curious about what you notice in your experience allowing all of it to be there you might allow the gentle rhythm of your breath to offer a sense of rocking and cradling.
Noticing that movement a gentle rhythm allowing that to be a source of support.
And then gently allowing your attention to come back into the points of contact with the surface beneath you perhaps starting to notice the sounds in the space around you.
Whenever you feel ready.
Allowing yourself to land back Perhaps taking in the space again with that slow scanning from one side to another.
And as we bring this practice to a close,
I hope you might be able to take some of this softness into your day ahead.
Thank you for being here.
