Welcome to this guided meditation for coming home to yourself under the Cancer full moon.
I invite you to find a comfortable spot either seated or lying down and wherever you are allow yourself to begin to arrive.
This is your time to soften,
To exhale and to come home to yourself.
Gently close your eyes if that feels safe for you or soften your gaze and take a slow breath in through your nose and release it all through your mouth and again inhale filling your chest and your belly and exhale completely letting the weight of the day fall away.
There is nowhere you need to be right now,
Nothing you need to fix,
Nothing you need to become,
Just here,
Just breathing,
Just you,
Just now.
Bring your awareness to the points where your body meets the surface beneath you.
Notice how you are supported.
Cancerian energy reminds us that safety doesn't come from control,
It comes from being held.
Imagine the earth gently rising up to meet your body,
Cradling you like a tide meeting the shore.
With every exhale allow yourself to sink a little deeper.
Quietly say to yourself,
I am safe enough to rest,
I am safe enough to feel.
Begin to follow the rhythm of your breath and inhale slowly for a count of 4,
3,
2 and hold gently for 1,
2 and exhale 2,
3,
4.
Again inhale 4,
3,
2,
Pause 1,
2 and exhale 2,
3,
4.
Let the breath move like water,
Unforced,
Intuitive and natural.
If emotions arise,
Allow them.
You don't need to name them,
You don't need to understand them.
This is a Cancer full moon.
Feelings are invited and welcome here.
Now imagine yourself standing near a calm body of water at night.
The full moon hangs low and luminous in the sky,
Casting a silver light across the surface of the water.
The air is cool,
Still and quiet.
The moon is not watching you,
It is recognizing you.
Allow yourself to feel seen,
Not judged,
Not measured,
Just seen.
As moonlight touches the water,
Imagine it also touching you,
Washing gently over your shoulder,
Your chest,
Your heart,
Every place you've been holding tension,
Every place you've been holding it together.
Allow the moon to soften those spaces.
Bring awareness into your body.
Cancer reminds us your body is your first home.
Gently scan from the top of your head down to your feet.
Notice without judgment.
If you find a place that feels tight,
Tired or heavy,
Place your awareness there like a warm hand.
Allow your breath to travel into this space and silently say,
Thank you for carrying me.
Thank you for protecting me.
I'm listening now.
Let your body know you are no longer rushing past it.
You are living in alignment with it.
Now imagine the water before you becoming a gentle tide.
Into this water you are allowed to release.
Without effort,
Without force,
Allow anything from 2025 that feels heavy to rise to the surface.
Old emotional patterns,
Self-criticism,
Pressure,
Exhaustion,
Grief you didn't have time to feel.
You don't need to relive it.
Simply allow it to be seen and released.
Watch as the water carries it away,
Neutralizing it and returning it to the earth.
You are not losing anything of value.
You are making space.
Now imagine the moonlight growing warmer,
Softer.
It begins to fill the space that you have just cleared.
Ask yourself gently,
What do I want my life to feel like now?
Not what it looks like,
Not what it proves,
How it feels.
Peace,
Belonging,
Emotional honesty,
Safety,
Connection.
Allow these feelings to settle into your chest,
Your belly,
Your nervous system.
This is the energy you are bringing into 2026.
Not rushed,
Not forced,
But rooted.
Take a slow breath in and a long exhale out.
Feel your body here in this moment.
Feel the ground beneath you again.
The moon remains above,
Steady,
Calm and constant.
You don't need to hold on to this moment.
It lives inside of you.
Quietly repeat,
I choose a life that feels like home.
I build with care.
I honor my heart as much as my goals.
When you're ready,
Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when it feels right,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry this softness with you.
Let this full moon remind you,
You don't need to harden to move forward.
You are allowed to build and be held at the same time.
