Welcome to your guided meditation for the full moon in Taurus.
A meditation for making space for what belongs.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Let your hands rest gently wherever they feel at ease.
You can gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
And take a moment to notice the surface beneath you.
Notice the places where your body is meeting the support underneath you.
For these next few minutes,
Allow yourself to simply be here.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose.
And exhale gently through the mouth.
And again,
Taking a nice deep breath in through your nose.
And exhaling completely through your mouth.
Feeling yourself arrive in this space.
And one more time,
Nice,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale,
Releasing completely.
Allowing yourself to fully arrive in this moment.
Allow your breath to settle into its own natural rhythm.
Notice your jaw.
Let there be a little more space between your teeth.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Let your belly move with your breath.
Feel the weight of your hips on the ground.
The heaviness of your legs.
The quiet presence of your feet.
Feel the earth beneath you.
Steady,
Spacious and supportive.
The full moon offers us a moment to pause and notice.
To see what has grown.
What has reached completion.
What we're ready to celebrate.
And what we no longer need to carry forward.
With Taurus as our inspiration,
We turn toward comfort,
Security,
And the things we hold close.
Our routines,
Relationships.
Our sense of belonging.
And the familiar ways that we define ourselves.
Some of these things nourish us.
And some have become places where we hide from the uncertainty of change.
Tonight,
We make room to notice the difference with honesty and kindness.
As you breathe in.
Bring your attention to something in your life that feels familiar.
But increasingly too small.
Perhaps it is a role that you've outgrown.
A habit you return to when you feel uncertain.
A relationship where you've kept quiet to preserve the peace.
Or an expectation you keep meeting even though it leaves you feeling far from yourself.
Let whatever arises come into your awareness.
And if nothing comes,
Simply stay with your breath.
Gently ask yourself,
What am I holding on to because I'm afraid of what happens without it?
Allow the question to settle.
Without needing to force an answer.
Perhaps you're afraid of disappointing someone.
Of having less.
Of starting over.
Of being seen differently.
Perhaps you worry that if you stop being useful,
Agreeable,
Or endlessly available,
You'll lose your place in someone's life.
Notice what arises.
You can acknowledge fear without letting it make the decisions.
Take a steady,
Easy breath.
And feel the support beneath you again.
Imagine holding this familiar thing in your hands.
Notice how tightly you may be gripping it.
Then ask yourself,
What has this helped me feel or avoid?
Perhaps it offered belonging,
Predictability,
Approval,
Or a sense of control.
Let yourself recognize the need beneath the attachment.
Wanting comfort is human.
Wanting security is human.
Wanting to feel loved is human.
You can meet these needs while offering compassion as you consider what needs to change.
Silently say,
I understand why I held on.
I can appreciate what helped me before.
I am allowed to need something different now.
And now gently ask yourself,
What is holding on costing me?
Your energy,
Your voice.
Your freedom to grow.
Let the answer be simple without needing to justify it.
Bring one hand to your heart.
And notice whether there is a conditioned belief.
Beneath this attachment.
Maybe a belief that has to do with being enough.
Having to prove your worth.
Time being too late.
Or the need to be grateful and ask for less.
If a familiar belief appears,
Imagine setting it down in front of you.
Begin to back away from it.
Giving yourself a little distance and space.
Ask yourself,
Who might I become if this belief no longer guided my choices?
Imagine yourself loosening the grip on this belief.
Allowing for space to be created around what you've been holding.
On your next exhale,
Silently say,
I am willing to release what keeps me small.
I am willing to let my needs matter.
I am making room for what belongs in my life.
Rest in that area of space that you have created.
You may feel relief or sadness and you may feel unsure.
Let your experience be what it is.
Releasing something can include grieving it.
You can miss what was familiar and still choose to move forward.
Moving slowly with support.
Taking one honest step at a time.
Feel your breath moving through you and feel the continued steadiness of the surface beneath your body.
Before we close,
Acknowledge something in your life worth celebrating.
A truth you have finally admitted.
A boundary that you have been practicing.
A difficult season that you were able to move through.
Perhaps simply your willingness to be here tonight,
Listening to yourself.
Take a breath in and allow yourself to receive your own recognition.
Silently repeat to yourself.
I can honor what has been and make room for what comes next.
My worth does not depend on how much I carry.
I am allowed to grow beyond what is familiar.
I welcome what supports the life I want to live.
Take one more slow,
Gentle breath.
And begin to feel your hands and your feet.
The space around you.
Gently move your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes or lift your gaze.
Carry this intention with you through the full moon.
I am making space for the life I am meant to live.
