Good evening beautiful soul,
Welcome to tonight's meditation.
My name is Regina and today I will guide you to a deep sleep.
But first,
Let's leave all the day behind.
Find a comfortable position in your bed.
Allow your body to fully settle into the mattress.
Let your arms rest softly by your sides or wherever they feel natural and gently close your eyes.
Take a slow deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Again inhale deeply and release.
With every breath out,
Allow the day to slowly dissolve.
There is nothing more you need to do tonight.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to solve.
This is your time to rest.
So allow your thoughts to soften.
Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Imagine a soft wave of relaxation beginning there,
Slowly flowing down across your forehead.
Relax your forehead.
Relax the small muscles around your eyes and let your eyes rest deeply in their socket.
Relax your jaw.
Allow your tongue to soften.
Let your neck release any tension it was holding from the day.
Now the relaxation moves into your shoulders.
Feel them gently melting downward.
Your arms becoming heavier.
Your hands completely relaxed.
The wave of relaxation now flows into your chest.
Your breath becomes slow and natural.
Your heart beating peacefully.
Now soften your stomach.
Let go of holding.
Your belly rises and falls with the rhythm of your breath.
Relax your lower back.
Your hips sinking deeper into the bed.
Now the relaxation moves down your legs,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calf muscles,
Your ankles,
Your feet,
Your soles and your toes.
Your entire body is now resting,
Supported,
Held.
Now visualize the beautiful,
Sparkling,
Warm golden light above you.
This light represents the wisdom of your higher self.
It slowly begins to float down around your body,
Surrounding you in cocoon,
Cocoon of peace and protection.
Now silently invite the loving presence of your spirit guides and angels.
You may say softly in your mind,
I welcome their loving guidance and protection of my higher self,
My spirit guide and my angels tonight.
Imagine their presence as a calm,
Peaceful energy around your bed,
Protecting you,
Watching over you,
Holding space for deep healing while you sleep.
Now say gently within,
My body knows how to rest.
My mind is allowed to become quiet.
I release this day with peace.
Tonight I sleep deeply and peacefully.
My body restores itself while I sleep.
My spirit is safe and protected.
Feel this beautiful,
Sparkling golden light around you becoming softer,
Calmer,
Like a red night sky.
Now imagine this protective light sealing gently around your bed.
Nothing heavy or disturbing can enter this space.
This is a sanctuary of rest,
A sacred space for sleep.
Now let your breathing to become slower,
Your body heavier,
Your mind quieter.
Soon the music will continue and you can allow yourself to drift deeper and deeper into sleep.
Trust that your body will restore itself to mind.
Trust that your guide and higher self are watching over you.
There is nothing you need to control.
You are safe.
Simply rest.
Simply sleep.
