Hello beautiful soul and welcome to this meditation.
My name is Regina and today I am here to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom,
Presence and natural state of harmony.
Today we will explore something that many of us have experienced but sometimes learn to ignore.
The quiet wisdom of our gut.
But before we begin the meditation,
Let me share a short story.
There once was a traveler who arrived to a crossroads deep in a forest.
Two paths stretched out in front of him.
One path was wide,
Well paved and full of signs pointing the way.
Many people walked this road,
Confidently moving forward.
The other path was narrow,
Quiet and surrounded by tall grass.
There were no signs and it looked uncertain.
The traveler asked the people on the wide road which path he should take.
They all gave different answers.
Some said the wide road was the safest.
Others said the narrow road might be dangerous.
The traveler became more confused with every opinion he heard.
Finally he sat down,
Closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
And in that quiet moment he noticed something subtle.
One path made his body feel heavy and tense.
The other made his chest feel lighter and his stomach relax.
Without fully understanding why,
He chose the path that felt lighter.
And that path led him exactly where he needed to go.
Now the lesson of this story is simple.
Your mind may search endlessly for answers but your body often knows before your mind does.
Your gut,
Your inner guidance is constantly communicating with you.
The question is not whether your intuition exists.
The question is are you listening?
And today we will practice listening.
So now,
Make yourself comfortable.
Sit up tall or lie down.
And gently allow your eyes to close.
Take a slow,
Long,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And slowly release it through the mouth.
Allow your shoulders to soften and let your body settle.
And continue to breathe.
Bring your awareness to your belly,
The center of your body.
The place where many people feel instinct,
Intuition and inannoying.
Place one hand on your stomach if that feels comfortable.
Take a slow breath in and feel the belly gently expand.
As you exhale,
Allow the belly to soften.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Allow your body to relax more with every breath.
Now simply observe the sensation in your belly.
There is nothing to change,
Nothing to fix.
Just notice.
Your body has its own intelligence.
Your gut has its own wisdom.
Sometimes intuition feels like a gentle knowing.
Sometimes it feels like a tightening or a soft opening.
Simply notice what is present.
Now imagine that this center within you is a quiet compass.
The compass then gently guides you through life.
With every breath imagine this inner compass becoming clearer,
Calmer and easier to hear.
You do not need to force anything.
Guidance comes when there is space.
And so now we will create space.
For the next few minutes allow yourself to simply rest in silence.
Just listen and feel.
Trusting whatever arises.
I will ring the chime when the time is up.
And if you notice that you have wandered around,
It's totally fine.
Just bring your attention back to your breath.
Without judgment.
Begin to bring awareness back to your breath.
Long,
Deep inhale.
And a long exhale.
Repeat it once again.
Notice the gentle movement of your body breathing.
Notice the calmness that may be present.
Your inner guidance does not shout.
It whispers.
And the more you listen,
The clearer it becomes.
As you continue through your life,
Remember the simple truth.
Your body often knows the answer before your mind does.
And with that said,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And exhale gently.
Repeat it once again.
Now wiggle your toes and your fingers.
And come back to the room,
Into your body.
And when you are ready,
Softly open your eyes.
And carry this phrase with you for today.
I trust the quiet wisdom within me.
Until we meet again,
Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.
See you soon.
