Take this moment to pause.
Just for yourself.
My name is Regina and I will guide you through this meditation.
Allow your body to settle and make yourself comfortable.
Then you are ready.
Gently close your eyes,
Take a long slow deep breath in and out.
And just exhale fully.
Deep inhale.
And let everything soften as you exhale.
This moment is yours.
Right now,
You don't need to think.
You don't need to solve anything.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Just observe your inhale.
And your exhale.
Now see your thoughts like clouds in the sky.
Some frost.
Some heavy.
Some repeating.
Instead of following them.
Just watch them pass.
To see them.
Passing through the sky.
You are not your tone.
You are the space that observes them.
Take a deep breath in.
On this exhale let one layer of tension drop.
From your shoulders.
Or from your chest.
Or from anywhere.
Where you can feel this tension.
One more deep breath in.
And just let it all go.
Now repeat it after me.
I release what I cannot control.
I allow my mind to rest.
Feel your body.
How does it react to these affirmations?
Just observing.
There is nothing to do.
Even if your thoughts are still here.
You are creating space.
And that is enough.
You are the space between your thoughts.
You are creating space for yourself so you can observe.
But just remember.
Do not judge yourself for your thoughts,
Because you are not your thoughts.
So repeat it once again after me I allow my mind to rest.
I release what I cannot control.
Take a long,
Slow deep breath in.
And with a sigh let it all go through your mouth.
Again long inhale.
And exhale through your mouth Start to come back to your body.
Feel your hands and your toes.
You can wiggle them.
And take a final breath in and exhale.
And when you are ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Come back to this meditation as often as you like.
And notice.
The gentle shifts in your everyday life.
Meditation is really not about staying in a concentration position for x period of time It is how we bring the observation,
The awareness.
Into our everyday moments.
When we are talking to our spouse,
To our kids.
And how we handle these situations.
And it's okay if it's in the beginning.
We have difficulty.
But with time.
You can observe it.
That it will be easier to handle difficult and stressful situations.
It will be easier to handle difficulties.
And stressful situations.
Embedded sand.
Stay awake to the quiet wisdom within you.
Because it's there.
Your shine is so bright within you.
