Welcome,
Beautiful soul.
Take this moment just for yourself.
A moment to slow down.
To breathe.
And to gently return home to yourself.
My name is Regina and I will be guiding you through this meditation today.
Wherever you are,
However you feel,
You are always welcome here.
Allow your belly to settle comfortably.
Start softening your breath.
And when you are ready.
You can gently close your eyes.
Take a long deep breath.
Slow deep breath in.
And exhale.
One more deep breath in.
And long.
Soft exhale.
Today we will be exploring the connection.
Between emotions and the body.
Specifically,
The energy of the liver.
Many traditions believe the liver stores emotions like anger,
Frustration and resentment.
When these emotions are held for too long,
They can create tension within us.
Luckily,
Our body is a magical instrument.
That can repair itself when it is given the perfect condition.
Today with this meditation we may create space for that healing process.
Today I brought you a short story.
Let me share it with you.
There once was a farmer who had a river flowing through his land.
For many years the river flowed freely,
Nourishing the fields and bringing life to the soil.
But one year,
After many storms,
Branches and debris began to collect in the water.
At first,
It seemed like a small blockage.
But over time,
The debris build up.
The river became slower,
Heavier,
And the water struggled to move.
The former realized something important.
The reverberate itself was not the problem.
The flow was simply blocked.
So I patiently began removing the branches,
Stones and debris.
Little by little,
The river began to flow freely again.
And the lesson here is that our emotions are like the river.
Anger and frustration are natural human experiences,
But when we hold onto them for too long,
They can block our inner flow.
The solution is not to fight the river.
The solution is gently clear what has been stuck.
So with that said.
.
.
Take another deep breath.
Inhale through your nose.
And just gently exhale.
Repeat it once again.
Deep.
Long inhale,
And exhale.
Start softening your muscles.
Your face.
Your jaw,
Just drop your shoulders.
Straighten your spine Soften your tummy.
Relax your legs and your feet.
And let your body fully settle.
Bring your awareness to the right side of your upper abdomen.
Just beneath your ribcage.
This is the area.
Where the liver rests.
You do not need to feel anything specific.
Simply bring gentle awareness here.
If you'd like,
You can even place your hand here.
To make a deeper connection.
Take a slow breath in.
And visualize as your breath flowing into the space.
And as you exhale imagine tension slowly softening.
Breathing in.
.
.
Branding out.
Now imagine that with each exhale you let go of stored frustration.
Let go of anger.
You Let go of emotional heaviness.
There is nothing wrong with feeling these emotions.
But you no longer need to carry them.
You are allowed to let them all go.
So give yourself permission now.
To release them.
Let them all go.
Allow the breath to gently clear your liver.
From all that no longer serves you.
From all that is holding you back.
Now visualize a warm,
Soothing,
Beautiful golden light surrounding your liver.
With every breath.
This light supports.
Balance.
And renewal.
Your body knows how to restore harmony all it needs.
Space.
Now we will spend the next few minutes resting in total silence.
Allow the breath to move naturally.
Allow the body to release.
Whatever is ready to release Simply rest.
And receive.
When you notice that you no longer pay attention to your breath.
Just gently bring back your awareness to your breath.
Or to the top of your nose.
Where the breath enters.
When the time is up.
I'm wearing the chime.
Bye.
Take a long,
Deep breath.
Slow the breath in.
And exhale slowly.
Repeat it once again.
Long slow deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Notice the feeling in your body.
Is there any difference?
Notice any sense of lightness or space.
Emotions are part of being human,
But they are not meant to stay stuck within us.
When we allow them to move.
We return to balance and free ourself from within.
Take a long deep breath.
Slow deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Repeat it once again.
Deep inhale & exhale.
And exhale.
When you are ready,
Start to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
And your next exhale.
Gently open your eyes.
And I leave you a phrase for today that can be your mantra.
I release what no longer serves me and I allow my energy to flow freely.
Stay awake to the quiet wisdom within you.
Until we meet again,
Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.
Thank you so much.
