We close the eyes and we open the heart and we bring our attention to the body.
Sitting comfortably,
The back comfortably straight,
Not too stiff,
Not too loose.
We can let the shoulders fall,
Just drop the shoulders,
Being aware of any release of tension as we let those shoulders fall.
Being aware of the neck,
The head,
The forehead all relaxed,
The eyes relaxed.
And we can visualize ourselves as we sit here,
Centering our attention,
Centering our energy with the body.
We bring our awareness to the breathing.
Breathing in,
Being aware of the breathing in.
Breathing out,
Being aware of the breathing out.
Being aware of body,
Being aware of mind.
Being aware of all that contacts the mind,
From outside and from inside.
Being aware of all that contacts the mind through the five bodily senses.
Being aware of all that forms in the mind,
Just watching,
Observing,
Letting go.
Keeping our attention centered with the breathing.
Just breathing in,
Being aware of the breathing in.
Breathing out,
Being aware of the breathing out.
Being aware of these fluctuations of mental energy,
These thoughts,
These feelings,
These memories,
These states of mind,
As they appear,
As they pass away.
Just watching,
Observing,
Letting go.
We don't react,
We don't get entangled.
We stay at the perspective of higher consciousness.
At the perspective of higher consciousness,
All that contacts the mind is simply mental phenomena,
Physical phenomena,
Arising and passing away.
The heart stays calm,
Cool,
Clear and clean.
The heart stays unchained.
Just centering our attention with the breathing.
With every breath we clear the heart.
The heart becoming more and more at peace.
The peace becoming deeper and deeper,
More and more refined.
And with every breath we unify the heart.
The heart becomes more and more whole.
We become wholehearted.
The heart becoming more unified and more energized.
So as we clear the heart,
We unify the heart.
We find our own inner oasis,
Oasis of peace,
Of calm,
Of stability,
Of strength.
We find our inner place where the mind becomes refreshed and the mind becomes recharged.
We stop to clutter the heart.
And we stop to squeeze the heart.
We stop to strangle the heart.
And we find the heart is a conduit,
A channel of divine energy.
As we clear the heart,
We energize the heart,
We feel this flow of divine energy.
We feel a lightness,
A sense of refinement,
A lightness of body,
Lightness of mind,
Refinement of body,
Refinement of mind.
The heart filling with the life force,
Light force,
Energy of the universe,
Becoming more and more at peace and becoming stronger and stronger as we recharge the heart.
We find our own inner wellspring of divine energy.
And as we simply continue to watch the breathing,
Watch the mind,
The heart becomes more and more energized.
Our wellspring becomes a fountain,
A fountain of peace,
Fountain of joy,
Fountain of happiness.
The heart overflowing,
Overflowing with peace,
Overflowing with joy,
Overflowing with happiness.
And we can share this energy with the world around us.
And as we share this energy,
The heart becomes brighter and brighter.
The energy field of the heart becomes wider and wider.
Breathing in,
We focus our attention at the heart chakra,
We wish happiness for ourselves.
And we can visualize the heart filling with light.
Breathing out,
We wish happiness for all beings and we simply let the heart overflow.
The light of the heart radiating,
Overflowing in all directions.
So breathing in with kindness,
With compassion for ourselves,
Charging the heart,
Filling the heart,
Flushing the heart.
Breathing out with kindness,
With compassion for all beings,
Radiating this energy to the world around us,
Uplifting the world around us.
Breathing in,
May I be happy.
Breathing out,
May all beings be happy.
We can breathe in joyfully,
Joyfully filling the heart with this divine energy,
Joyfully clearing our own consciousness,
Raising our own consciousness.
Breathing out joyfully,
Joyfully uplifting the world around us.
Breathing in,
Washing,
Flushing,
Cooling,
Clearing,
Cleaning the heart.
Breathing out,
Letting this energy overflow.
The light of the heart radiating in all directions,
Above,
Below and all around.
And now we can just observe the heart,
How does it feel?
Does it feel more open,
More refined,
More at peace,
More steady,
More stable,
More secure?
We watch,
Observe and we simply let go.
We bring our awareness to the body,
Being aware of the body posture,
The sensations of the body,
And we can visualize ourself.
We can visualize the body filled with light,
And as we visualize it so,
We make it so.
And now the mind is very strong,
The mind is more powerful,
More powerful but at the same time more gentle.
Our power of intention is very strong.
We make the intention to continue with this practice,
Refining the heart,
Strengthening the heart,
Freeing the heart.
And we open the eyes and we keep the heart open.
