Close your eyes and take a few slow deep breaths in your own time.
As you inhale,
Breathe in the idea of giving from the heart.
As you exhale,
Release any expectation of receiving in return.
Feel your heart open with the intention to offer care,
Presence and attention freely to your partner.
On the truth that selflessness does not require losing yourself,
Notice how generosity can flow naturally from a place of wholeness.
Sense the strength that comes from giving from abundance,
Not from emptiness.
When your partner's small quiet gesture made you feel deeply loved,
Perhaps it was a gentle touch,
A listening ear or a shared smile.
Feel how these acts of kindness have created trust,
Intimacy and connection between you.
Allow yourself to feel the vulnerability that comes from giving freely.
Notice any tension or fear and breathe into it.
Let your heart soften toward your partner as you honor the courage it takes to love without expectation.
