This track meditation begins with a talk on grief and the mindset shift that takes place during the coping process. Honoring and receiving grief with open arms and compassion helps us to move through the pains of grief making space for healing and relief. Processing and existing within this difficult space allows us to hold space for these difficult moments. Grief is a process and a continual relationship built within the soul. This meditation includes sounds of waves crashing and a light piano. The waves remind us to allow the emotions of grief to ride over us like waves. Hello and welcome.

When I think of healing and I think of bringing intentions into my life,

I am reminded of the words that soothe my soul,

That allow me to feel exactly as I feel,

Allow me to see exactly as I see.

In my mind,

A very loud presence is grief,

The loss that we carry so heavily with us in our lives,

The events that are missed,

The moments,

Space created in time,

Even if we didn't want it there.

All of us have a relationship with grief in some way.

The relationship is a separate energy that lives.

This often is that longing feeling,

The grief of the loss of an expectation with this energy,

The loss of a found love,

The loss of a best friend,

The loss of a loved one,

The loss of a moment creating unwanted space during our time.

Grief is our real energy,

An energetic piece of that loss.

A witness of all that is,

What could be.

Holding that grief piece more gently and closely to our hearts.

Allowing all the emotions that come with holding that close.

Allowing them in sitting,

Simply sitting and existing.

Your grief piece is meant to give you peace that is never gone,

Just moved through you.

As you learn your relationship with grief,

You will learn how to move this through the body more effortlessly,

How to allow it to give you these moments left in thought,

Beautiful memories,

Beautiful times,

And hold those sacred and dear to you,

Whether that's journaling,

Finding a picture,

Making a scrapbook,

Writing a song or a poem.

However this grief piece is meant to exist in your life.

It's beautiful that healing is real and healing can and does come,

But it typically comes to the mind and then makes its way to our heart.

Let us place the intention to open our minds to healing.

Let us recognize in what way we can accept grief as our friend.

Grief is not just a reminder of what you lost,

But a reminder of what is still yours.

So with this gentle reminder,

Let us come closer to our hearts.

Let us draw closer to the breath and let us choose to breathe into this moment,

Releasing all tension and fear,

Knowing I will overcome negativity with love.

I will compassionately accept all of my feelings.

I will focus focus on this feeling in this present moment.

This feeling will subside.

I am responsible for my own destiny.

I can survive and grow through this difficulty.

I am more powerful than any feeling or thought.

I deserve to have a peaceful life.

I pay attention to my emotions and behave in a healing manner.

I can ask for help when I need it.

I am thankful for all that I have.

I am secure and safe.

I claim my happiness while still welcoming and fully experiencing all of my emotions.

I'm releasing the shoulders,

Rolling the wrists,

Releasing the back,

Starting at the neck,

Vertebrae.

I vert it down the spine to the tailbone,

Releasing the legs,

The feet and the toes,

Falling deeply into the support of the ground beneath you,

Effortlessly being carried,

Effortlessly being held.

I am home,

Allowing the body to be comfortable and making any adjustments needed to better serve yourself in this moment.

The better take care of you in the midst of your healing.

You are deserving of comfort,

Deserving of love,

And you are filled with that love that you seek,

Receiving it now with every inhale and exhale,

Breathing in this love and this light,

Exhaling this love and this light,

Creating this environment of love and light.

Allow the body to rest,

To receive,

Simply existing in this space for as long as feels comfortable,

And when you are ready,

And only when you are ready,

Begin to open the eyes and enjoy the rest of your moment by moment.
