Hello and welcome to your daily meditation.

This is a meditation to connect you to your body so that you can come away feeling just a touch more granted,

Perhaps creating a sense of calmness throughout your body and throughout your mind.

So find a comfortable seat or lay down,

Whatever suits you in this moment.

As you arrive,

Start to close down your eyes or you may have a soft gaze towards the ceiling or the floor.

Starting to settle into your body.

What I mean by that is just allowing yourself to relax,

To let go of any tension that may be creeping in.

To soften down through the facial muscles,

The jaw might unclench,

While the eyes are soft.

You may come to notice your breathing.

We notice the soft,

Natural breath that is there throughout the day.

Your physical anchor to this present moment.

How does it feel for you?

Start to become aware of any tension that is present within your body.

This may look like physical tension,

Physical sensation.

You may feel more emotional contraction around the mind,

Giving the body attention where it so requires.

Perhaps watching as the sensation changes when you follow it internally.

We'll come to notice the feet,

The feet.

Inviting softness.

The chest.

We come to notice the hands and the arms.

Landing within the throat.

Again,

Coming to land within your facial muscles as you relax them down.

Becoming aware of all that is present.

Come to land within the whole body.

Notice from the tips of the toes to the crown of the head,

All the space in between.

Becoming aware of where your body meets the earth or the chair.

Whatever you may be sat upon.

Perhaps your feet,

If they're planted into the earth.

Where do you feel this connection?

Then drop your chin towards your chest.

Gently flicker open your eyes.

Taking in light and color.

Slowly rise your head back up.

Becoming aware of all that you see.

Textures.

Lightness.

And landing back within your body.
