Welcome to this healing space.
I'm your host Pratyansha and today we'll be on a journey together to de-stress our minds.
If you're here right now,
It's probably because your mind has not stopped.
Thoughts racing,
A long list of things undone.
That constant hum of more,
More and more.
You don't need to fix anything right now.
You don't need to figure anything out.
This time is just for you.
So,
Wherever you are,
Lying down,
Sitting,
Curled up,
Somewhere quiet.
Let your body begin to settle.
Close your eyes gently and just arrive here.
Let's begin with the breath.
Take a slow inhale through your nose.
Breathing in for four counts.
One,
Two,
Three and four.
Now a long slow exhale through your mouth.
Letting it all go.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five and six.
Again,
Inhale,
Filling up.
And exhale,
Releasing.
With every exhale,
Your nervous system receives a message.
You are safe.
You can rest now.
Nothing needs your attention in this moment.
One more time,
Deep inhale.
And long exhale.
Let it go completely.
Good.
Good.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
No controlling,
No forcing.
Just breathing naturally and easily.
Now I want you to notice your mind.
It may still be busy and that's okay.
Thoughts may still be arriving.
Plans,
Worries,
Memories,
Reminders.
Don't push them away.
Don't hold on to them either.
Simply notice them.
Imagine you're sitting on a grassy riverbank.
The river in front of you is flowing gently.
And each thought that arises is just a leaf floating on the surface of the water.
You see the leaf appear.
You notice it.
And you watch it drift slowly downstream.
You don't jump in after it.
You don't try to stop it.
You simply sit on the bank and watch.
Another thought arrives.
Another leaf.
And it too drifts away.
You're not your thoughts.
You're the one sitting quietly on the bank.
Watching them pass.
The river keeps flowing.
The leaves keep moving.
And you remain still.
Now I'd like you to imagine something.
Picture a large whiteboard directly in front of you.
It is covered in writing.
Tasks,
Names,
Deadlines,
Questions,
Half-formed words.
Half-formed thoughts,
Worries.
Everything your mind has been carrying.
See all of it here.
Written in black marker.
Every worry.
Every reminder.
Every unfinished thing.
Just look at it for a moment.
And now,
Notice a soft cloth in your hand.
It's damp and cool and ready.
You raise it slowly to the top left corner of the board.
And you begin to wipe.
Long,
Slow strokes.
The words begin to blur.
To fade.
You move across the top of the board.
Words dissolving.
The white surface returning.
Down to the middle now.
More thoughts wiping away.
That deadline,
Gone.
That worry,
Fading.
That conversation you keep replaying,
Dissolving.
Keep wiping slowly,
Gently.
There's no rush.
The board is becoming cleaner now.
More white space appearing.
More room.
More quiet.
Almost clear now.
Just a few faint marks remaining.
And with one final slow stroke.
The board is white.
Clean.
Empty.
And still.
Look at all that space.
This is your mind right now.
Not empty in a hollow way.
But clear,
Open,
Spacious.
Like a sky after rain.
Breathe into that space.
Feel the lightness of it.
There is nothing written there right now.
Nothing you need to remember.
Nothing you need to know.
Just this.
Stay here for a little while.
In this quiet.
Feel your body,
Heavy and soft against the surface beneath you.
Feel your breath,
Slow and easy.
Feel your mind,
Still.
If a thought arrives,
That's okay.
Just notice it.
And let it float away.
Returning always to this stillness.
You're not behind.
You're not falling.
You're not broken.
You are a human being.
Who needed rest.
And you gave that to yourself today.
You can stay here as long as you like.
When you're ready,
Begin to deepen your breath slowly.
Feel the weight of your body again.
Your hands,
Your feet,
The surface beneath you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take one full deep breath in.
And a slow exhale out.
And softly,
In your own time,
Allow your eyes to open.
Welcome back.
You carried a lot today.
And for these few minutes,
You put it down.
Remember,
You can always come back here.
Whenever the noise is gone.
Or if the noise gets too loud,
The space is waiting for you.
Thank you.
See you soon.
