Welcome to this healing space.
I am your host Pratyansha.
So last week I went to cycling with my friends.
And I was really excited,
Since it was after childhood that I was going to ride again.
Filled with joy I went to this ride ignoring the fact that it was the first day of Mercury going retrograde in Pisces.
And as you know it is generally advised to avoid doing something new or travel during this period.
And consequently I ended up injuring my leg.
I felt a little angry and helpless as to how my excitement and joy suddenly turned into an event where I felt like a hammed man in the tarot deck.
So this meditation is for transmuting the helplessness we feel when we are faced with a situation that is not under our control.
Because let's be honest,
Most of the times we forget to see the bigger picture and enjoy the resting periods gifted to us in the moments of an unwanted event.
So if you feel ready,
Let's begin this meditation now.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel the support.
With every breath you are connecting deeper and deeper within yourself.
And on the count of five,
You will be taken into an inner journey of peace and tranquillity.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four and five.
Notice what still feels tight inside you.
Notice any frustration,
Any disappointment,
Any silent question that says,
Why did this happen?
Don't push it away.
Let it be here.
Take another breath in.
And as you exhale,
Notice this.
Your anger is not wrong.
It is simply energy,
That expected movement.
Your helplessness is not weakness.
It is the shock of being paused without choice.
Now imagine the exact moment when everything changed.
The moment when excitement became interruption.
Forward momentum became stillness.
See yourself there.
And instead of seeing this moment as something that trapped you,
Allow a new possibility to emerge.
What if this moment did not take your power,
But rearranged it?
Take a breath in and silently ask.
If this pause is not against me,
What might it be doing for me?
Pause.
Notice how the question softens the grip of anger.
Because anger lives in,
This shouldn't have happened.
But power lives in curiosity.
Take another breath in.
And now ask,
If the stillness is not punishment,
What might it be protecting?
Pause.
Feel how helplessness begins to shift.
Because helplessness lives in,
I have no choice.
But meaning lives in participation.
You may not have chosen the event,
But you can choose your relationship to it.
And in that choice,
Power returns.
Imagine now that you are not hanging in suspension like the hanged man,
But being gently repositioned,
Turned,
So that you can see something you could not see before.
Sometimes life pauses us,
Not to stop us,
But to prevent a direction that was not meant for us.
Take a deep breath in and repeat silently.
This pause is not the end of the movement,
It is the beginning of alignment.
Even now,
Something is reorganizing.
Even now,
Something is preparing.
Even now,
Something is protecting.
Feel your anger softening into awareness.
Feel your helplessness shifting into perspective.
You're not stuck,
You're in transition.
In transition is where new timelines are born.
Take one final deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Gently return to the room.
Wiggle your fingers,
Feel the ground beneath you again.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Remember,
You're not paused,
You're being positioned.
Thank you for being here.
See you next time.
Bye for now.
