Let's prepare to meditate.
Adjust your body so that you are sitting comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Rest your hands on your lap in any way that is comfortable for you.
Take a nice,
Filling breath in.
Breathe deeply in through your nose and breathe out slowly through your mouth.
Do this again.
Now when you exhale,
Breathe out with a long sigh.
Do this breathing again a few more times to settle your mind and body.
You are ready to begin.
You find yourself floating on top of a beautiful cloud in the sky.
The cloud is fluffy and soft.
You are floating weightlessly and there is no risk of falling.
In this meditation we are going to lighten our body even more so we can float in this place with even greater ease.
Check in with one of your arms.
Soften all the muscles here.
Imagine this arm feeling lighter.
Your arm begins to feel light.
Bring your attention to the other arm now.
Relax it from your shoulder to your hand and to your fingertips.
Your arm becomes light.
Your arms now sit comfortably and so softly.
Focus now on your chest.
Breathe in the clean and healing oxygen from your high place up in the sky on this amazing cloud.
Imagine your chest feeling lighter.
The muscles in your chest begin to feel soft.
Imagine healing oxygen coming in straight through the front of your chest as if it didn't have to come through your nose or your mouth.
Imagine the oxygen as you breathe in coming through the front of your chest to fill your lungs.
You begin to feel even lighter.
Focus on one of your legs now.
As you breathe in,
Imagine your leg being filled with oxygen and becoming lighter,
Like a balloon.
Your leg feels light.
Now,
Use your breath to lighten the other leg.
Let it feel soft.
Let it fill with oxygen as you breathe and let it feel light.
Let your whole body feel soft now.
Relax your body.
Fill it with healing oxygen.
Fill yourself up like a balloon.
And now imagine a relaxing moment by yourself,
Floating atop your cloud in the sky.
Imagine what you can see above you,
And imagine what and who you can see below you.
As our meditation comes to a close,
Draw your attention back to your real body.
Notice and feel where your body is touching the floor or chair.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Take a deep breath.
Now go ahead and stretch out your body in any way that feels good to you.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Now go out and find the magic in your day.
