And today we're going to be letting go of anxiety.
So find a comfortable position and get settled in.
Close your eyes and take a slow deep breath in through your nose.
Feeling your lungs expand,
Holding this breath for a moment.
And gently exhale through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Take another deep breath in.
And with each inhale,
Allow yourself to settle into this present moment.
On the exhale,
Let go of any thoughts or worries that might be clouding your mind now.
You are here and that's all that matters.
As you continue to breathe slowly,
Gently begin to notice the thoughts that arise in your mind.
Acknowledge them.
Those thoughts about what could go wrong,
What needs to be done,
Or what you're afraid of.
But remember,
These are just thoughts.
These are just feelings.
And thoughts and feelings are not facts.
You are not defined by your worries.
You are not controlled by your anxiety.
These are things that we tell ourselves,
But they're not true.
Take a moment to realize that in this moment,
You are safe.
There is nothing to fear.
Now shift your focus to your breath.
With every inhale,
Imagine you're breathing in calm and peace.
Feel the air in your lungs,
Filling you with serenity.
And as you exhale,
Picture the anxiety leaving your body,
Releasing with every breath.
The worry fades away.
You invite more peace and joy.
Allow the exhale to be a practice of release for tension and stress.
A surrender to everything that is.
Let this truth sink in.
Right now,
In this moment,
There is nothing,
Absolutely nothing to worry about.
Nothing to be anxious about.
You are safe.
You are perfect.
You are enough.
And you have everything that you need.
All of the anxiety and fear are just illusions of the mind.
They do not define you,
And they do not control you.
The present moment is all that is real.
And here,
In this moment,
You are whole.
You are calm.
And you are at peace.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your chest with this peaceful energy.
And as you breathe out,
Let go of any lingering doubt or fear.
And on your next inhale,
Allow yourself to be present.
There is nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
No need to rush.
Just slow down and be present.
Allow the peacefulness of this moment to fill every part of you.
You are exactly where you need to be,
And you are safe.
You have everything under control.
There is no need to worry.
Everything is unfolding exactly as it should be.
Take one final deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release all remaining tension.
Allowing yourself to be completely at ease.
Understanding that anxiety is just us causing our own suffering.
Breathe in.
This ends today.
So now I invite you to bring your awareness back into your body.
Take another deep breath and begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Just feeling the calm energy that you've cultivated within you.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
Carrying this peace with you forever and always.
