Thank you so much for joining me.
My name is Laura Casimir and this meditation is brought to you by Divine Emergence.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
But whatever you choose,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Holding at the top.
And let it go.
Good.
Another nice,
Big breath in through your nose.
Holding at the top.
And sigh it out.
And as you continue to breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth,
I invite you to become more present in this moment.
More aware.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any thoughts,
Worries,
Or distractions.
Let go of any fears.
Allow your breath to be your anchor,
Guiding you into a space of stillness and peace.
Take a deep breath.
And bring your awareness to the space inside you where your shadow resides.
The shadow is not something to fear,
But rather a part of you that has been hidden away.
It's not just the bad or the negative parts of you.
But it's also the aspects of your personality that you have not yet fully embraced.
The parts that are longing for love,
Acceptance,
And grace.
Now imagine that your shadow is standing in front of you.
See it clearly.
Feel it clearly.
Not as an enemy,
But as a part of you.
A part of you that has been waiting for your attention.
It might look different for each of you.
It might be an image,
A feeling,
Or just a presence.
But allow yourself to be curious about your shadow here.
Take a deep breath.
And as you exhale,
Slowly step toward your shadow.
There's no need to rush.
Take your time.
There's no judgment here.
Just a safe,
Open space where you can meet all the parts of you.
Allow the fear to melt away.
Embrace your shadow as you would an old friend.
With kindness,
With compassion,
With understanding.
And as you stand before your shadow,
Ask it what it needs from you.
Perhaps it has a message for you.
Something it wants you to understand.
You may hear words,
Feel emotions,
Or even experience a deep knowing in this moment.
Whatever comes up for you,
Trust it.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine wrapping your arms around your shadow.
Hold it close to you.
Feel its energy.
It may feel heavy.
It may feel uncomfortable.
Or it may feel like a relief.
Whatever this feels like,
It's okay.
You're here to witness,
Not to judge.
Allow yourself to soften around your shadow.
Offering it love and acceptance.
Know that by accepting your shadow,
You are becoming whole.
You are bringing light to the parts of you that have been in the dark.
Now feel the shift in your body as you let go of fear and resistance.
With each breath,
You open more fully to the richness of your being.
Your shadow is not separate from you.
It is you.
It deserves to be loved.
It deserves to be integrated.
Take a deep breath here.
Now imagine that your shadow begins to dissolve into light.
As you exhale,
Release any tension or discomfort and allow your shadow to transform,
Merging back into your being.
You are not pushing it away.
But you are allowing it to become part of your whole.
Notice how your body responds.
Perhaps you feel lighter,
More expansive,
More complete than you've ever felt.
Know that by embracing the shadow,
You are embracing all of yourself.
Your strengths,
Your weaknesses,
Your joys,
Your pain,
And everything in between.
All of it makes you who you are.
Now let's take a moment to thank your shadow.
Express gratitude for the wisdom it has shared,
For the lessons it has taught,
And for the opportunity to integrate this part of yourself.
And as you sit quietly,
Allow the energy of acceptance and self-love to fill every part of you.
Feel the wholeness within you,
The peace,
And the deep knowing that you are enough just as you are.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel the air entering your lungs,
Filling you with life.
Take a deep inhale,
Grounding yourself and your shadow back into this present moment.
You may gently open your eyes,
Carrying the peace of this moment with you.
Namaste.
