Namaste.
Welcome to this full moon meditation.
A sacred pause to slow down,
Reflect and release.
The full moon represents completion and clarity.
A reminder that we are allowed to let go.
Find a comfortable position seated or lying down.
Allow your body to be fully supported and gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale steady and calm.
Exhale,
Releasing tension from jaw,
Shoulders and belly.
Now,
Allow your breath to return to the natural rhythm.
With each exhale,
Feel your nervous system receiving the message that it is safe to rest.
And begin to scan your body from the bottom of your head down to your feet.
Notice any areas holding tension or fatigue without any judgments.
And as you notice these sensations,
Imagine the earth beneath you offering support and stability.
You don't need to hold yourself up.
You're being held.
And let your body grow heavier,
More relaxed and more at ease.
Now,
Bring to mind the image of a full moon in the night sky,
Bright,
Steady and luminous.
Imagine its soft light slowly descending towards you,
Surrounding your body like a gentle glow.
This light does not rush.
It simply observes and supports.
And as the moonlight washes over you,
Allow anything you're ready to release to gently surface.
Tension,
Stress,
Emotional weight,
Old expectations or mental clutter.
With each exhale,
Offer it to the light.
There is nothing to force,
Only a natural letting go.
And silently repeat at your own pace in your mind,
I release what no longer serves me.
I allow space for calm,
Clarity and balance.
I allow space for calm,
Clarity and balance.
Notice how the body responds.
Notice the quiet that begins to form.
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Notice the rhythm steady and calm.
And carry the sense of release and clarity with you beyond this practice.
And when you feel ready,
Gently begin to move your fingers and your toes.
And slowly open your eyes,
Bringing this softness into the rest of your day or night.
Thank you for honoring this moment of rest.
Namaste.
