Welcome dear one,
Today's meditation is a journey,
A journey to your true self.
This is an unfolding of many years,
An unraveling of the layers that you carry,
The ones keeping you from reaching your full potential.
Envision yourself shedding the heaviness that weighs you down,
The heaviness keeping you from walking your path in this life.
And as we do,
We embark on a journey,
One that leaves your past,
Your present self behind.
A journey that allows you to step into the future,
A place full of possibilities.
In this journey,
We step onto a path that we are meant to follow,
A path that is in alignment with who we are meant to be.
And when we do so,
All is possible.
And we begin by bringing our awareness to our breath.
Breathe in deeply,
Sighing out this breath slowly,
Close your eyes deeply,
Allowing your mind to quiet and settle into your heart.
Turn the corners of your mouth up into a gentle smile.
And allow your body to experience the feeling that comes when you are walking on your own path,
Not the ones that others told you you needed to be on.
Experience the excitement,
The ease,
The feeling of comfort as you fall into alignment with your purpose.
We hear this word all the time,
But what is your purpose?
To find this answer,
We come back to the heart,
The truth,
Your truth,
All lies here.
And allow yourself a moment,
Allow yourself to rest here in the heart space.
And maybe as you bring your awareness to your heart,
An image,
An idea,
Something came to your mind,
A thought about what your purpose might be.
If this feels elusive,
If you still do not know,
There are signs,
Signals as you move through your day.
We pay attention to these signs to learn what our purpose is.
We pay attention to the times in our day where we feel at ease,
When we notice ourself smiling,
Laughing,
When time passes so quickly because we get caught up in the moment.
These are moments of time when we are living our purpose.
We just didn't know.
We pay attention to these times because these are signs.
This is when we learn what our path is.
Bring your awareness back to the breath,
Back to your body.
When you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
