Have you ever noticed,
Even when your mind feels quiet,
Your body still feels heavy?
Tight shoulders,
Stiff neck,
A constant sense of pressure.
We carry so much stress in our body without even realizing it.
And at night,
This tension quietly blocks deep rest.
Your body remembers what your mind tries to ignore.
And unless the body relaxes,
True sleep doesn't happen.
Tonight,
We will gently release this stored tension.
And allow your body to completely let go.
Now,
Lie down comfortably on your back.
Let your legs relax,
Slightly apart.
Arms resting beside your body,
Palms facing upward.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in and exhale completely.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale,
Letting go of the day.
One more deep breath in and slowly release it.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Supporting you fully.
Allow your body to sink,
Just a little deeper.
Now,
We begin a gentle relaxation of the body.
Bring your attention to your forehead.
Soften it.
Relax your eyes.
Let them rest deeply.
Relax your jaw.
Unclench.
Soften.
Let your neck release any tightness.
Now,
Bring awareness to your shoulders.
Notice if they are holding tension.
As you exhale,
Let them drop.
Feel the weight melting away.
Now,
Move to your arms.
Upper arms.
Elbow.
Forearms.
Wrist.
Hands.
Fingers.
Let them become heavy.
Completely relaxed.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your chest.
Allow your breath to flow naturally.
No effort and no control.
Relax your stomach.
Let it soften completely.
Now,
Bring awareness to your lower back.
With every exhale,
Feel it releasing tension.
Let go just a little more.
Now,
Move to your legs.
Elbows.
Eyes.
Knees.
Calves.
Ankles.
Feet.
Let your entire lower body relax.
Heavy.
Still.
And supported.
Now,
Feel your entire body together.
From head to toe.
Completely relaxed.
Completely at ease.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your breath.
With every inhale,
Feel gentle energy entering your body.
With every exhale,
Release any remaining tension.
Now imagine,
With every breath out,
Your body is melting into the ground.
All tightness dissolving.
All heaviness releasing.
Now,
Gently repeat in your mind.
My body is relaxed.
I release all tension.
I am safe to rest.
Let these words sink deeply.
Now,
Just stay here.
In this state of deep physical relaxation.
No effort.
No holding.
Just rest.
If you are ready to sleep,
You can stay here.
Else,
You can gently open your eyes.
The stress is not just your mind,
It lives in your body.
The more you learn to relax your body,
The easier it becomes to relax your mind.
Tonight,
Your body learned to let go.
Sleep well.
I'll see you tomorrow.
