Good morning and thank you for joining me today for this sunrise meditation.
So get comfortable wherever you are if you would like to sit or lie down the choice is completely yours.
Check in that you're comfortable and take any wiggles that you need to to allow your body to completely rest.
Let your arms rest by your sides,
Let your palms face open,
Close your eyes,
Soften your jaw and clench your hands and invite the breath to slow.
So imagine you're resting outside,
Sitting or laying on the grass in a beautiful open space.
The sky above you is slowly shifting,
It's painted in soft pastels,
You see peach,
Lavender and golden yellow.
You feel the very first rays of the sunlight as it gently warms your skin.
The grass beneath you is still dewy and cool.
You notice with each breath the light grows a little brighter as the sun begins to rise.
You feel the warm sun on your skin and with every breath you absorb the sunlight into your body.
Breathe in the beautiful light of the sunrise.
Allow every inhale to bring fresh energy and let every exhale let go of any tension,
Any heaviness.
Breathe in a fresh new day and exhale anything that you wish to release and let go of.
Inhale the beautiful calm light and let that light feel your body from the crown of your head into your toes.
Inhale the sunrise and feel your body filling up with light.
You breathe the light into your body and your forehead relaxes.
Your eyes soften,
You unclench your jaw and feel your shoulders melt away into the grass.
Soften your belly and let your hips sink.
Take a breath in of the bright shining light as you feel your legs relax even heavier all the way down to your feet.
And if you notice any tension,
Tightness or heaviness in the body let the morning light melt it all away.
Take a moment to rest here in the golden light of the sunrise.
With every inhale you breathe in the fresh new day ahead and every exhale you release.
You breathe out calm and you feel your body relaxing more and more into the moment.
Stay here for as long as it feels good for you.
When you are ready slowly begin to awaken taking a long and deep breath in through the nose and a big breath out of the mouth.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
I hope you have a beautiful day ahead.
Namaste.
