Starting with ordinary experience of three core body areas you will be guided to take deliberate interest in what is the knowing aspect of your experience in your head, torso, and lower body. In the end, you will discover Mother Awareness's loving embrace as being spacious, timeless, and pervasive enabling a more effortless way of being.

Mother Awareness Practice Become aware of the sensations in your head.

The thoughts,

The feelings,

And the sensations in or around your head.

Become aware of the feeling of your eyes closing or closed.

The sensations of breath entering your nose.

The sensation of your tongue in your mouth.

Become curious about the sensation of your headphones in your ears,

If you have them.

Or the sensation of the vibration of my voice in your ears.

Notice that all of this is appearing as information to awareness.

This is how you know.

Really just allowing the reception,

The experience of these sensations.

All of this information is appearing to awareness effortlessly.

Now simply become more curious about the experience of being awareness.

From the center of your head,

Where is awareness?

It can feel like child awareness turning around to become aware of mother awareness behind you.

The sensation of starting from tightness to spaciousness.

Like a child jumping into the arms of its mother.

Safe,

Secure,

Soothed and loved.

Now move your awareness and become even more curious about the sensations in your torso.

Including your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your back,

Your belly.

Arms,

Forearms,

Hands and armpits.

Feel the sensation of your clothing.

Sensation of your hands on your lap.

Feel the movement of your chest as you breathe.

Feeling directly from this location as this location.

Not attention,

Awareness.

Feel it fully.

And notice all of these sensations and movement are appearing to awareness as information.

Instead become more curious about the experience of being aware.

Where is awareness in the torso,

In your arms?

Where is it located?

Turn awareness around in this area to become aware of itself.

Like child awareness turning around to become aware of mother awareness behind you.

Surrender.

But first stay curious.

Where is awareness?

Notice the distinguishing features from going from our default awareness of information to awareness of awareness itself.

Are you more spacious?

More calm?

More open?

Allow this.

You are this.

Now allow awareness to drop into your lower body including your hips,

Pelvis,

Buttocks,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves and shins,

Ankles and feet.

What is the experience of being in this part of the body as awareness?

Do you feel the pressure of your body on the chair?

The sensation of clothing on your skin?

Can you even feel the movement of your pulse here?

Or the sensation of your feet in the shoes on the ground?

Notice these sensations are appearing to awareness as information.

This is how you know.

Instead now be more curious about the experience of being aware.

Where is awareness in this part of the body?

What do you find with curiosity freshly?

It is like child awareness turning around to become aware of mother awareness behind you.

Notice the shift from being oriented towards sensations and content and information to orienting towards awareness itself.

Notice more peace,

More space.

Can even feel timeless.

Awareness of awareness is the foreground background shift that brings us immediate wellness.

Now notice your whole body all at once.

Move awareness into the whole body all at once like moving into a room and turning the light on.

Everything comes on all at once.

Notice your body vibrating,

Situated on the chair.

With a direct experience of all the sensations,

Thoughts,

Feelings,

Emotions all appearing all at once to awareness.

Non-judgmentally as information.

Whole body.

Now simply become more curious about what knows this information,

The sensations,

The feelings,

The thoughts.

What knows?

Instruct awareness to turn around and become aware of itself from nowhere and everywhere at the same time.

Even though initially it can feel like it's behind you,

It actually includes everything.

Like child awareness turning around to become aware of mother awareness.

Surrender into this equanimous,

Timeless,

Spacious,

Boundaryless,

Centerless field of knowing.

Allow yourself to breathe into your belly and include that now you notice that you can transcend yet include.

Having shifted into mother awareness,

Allow yourself to bathe in her grace.

Soothe all your troubles and unburden all of your parts.

There is nothing she cannot handle.

You are that.

By practicing this more and more often and finding yourself in stressful situations,

You notice you can handle these situations with much more ease as mother awareness.

All it takes is 12 minutes.

Maintain this knowingness of mother awareness as you go about your day and bring the practice to a close.
