Quantum Presence Close your eyes and notice your eyes are closed.
Notice what you see even with eyes closed.
Notice that you are still aware.
Now try to shut down your awareness.
Try and stop it.
Pause it.
Notice no matter how hard you try,
Awareness cannot be stopped.
Now try to make your awareness more intense.
Bigger.
Larger.
Really try to make awareness bigger.
Notice that you can't do that either.
Awareness is already right here.
Unstoppable.
Already expansive.
No matter whether you have your eyes open or closed.
Rest in this easeful,
Always open,
Always awake,
Awareness.
Now notice any trying.
Any thoughts.
Any sense of self that's trying to follow this practice.
Trying to get it right.
Trying to find relief.
Trying to solve problems.
Just notice this pattern.
It could be a sensation,
An emotion,
Or a series of thoughts.
It's like a problem solver.
A seeker that's looking for problems to solve,
To get a confirmation that it's doing the right thing.
But instead notice that there is a fundamental awareness that already knows,
Is already the right thing.
And so giving thanks to that problem solver that's always wonderfully trying to keep us safe.
And give yourself permission for the next 10 minutes to unhook awareness from the problem solver.
From thoughts,
From information.
And to unhook awareness and become aware,
Like stepping back.
Become aware of the hearing field,
Sound field,
The listener.
Like your unhooking awareness that's being trained and addicted to thinking and problem solving.
To being more aware of the space where hearing seems to appear.
In or around your hearing field.
Shifting awareness from thought to hearing is just a subtle shift with great magnitude.
Notice that hearing is already 360,
Already wide open,
Already wide awake.
Notice that with the intention of awareness you can allow this awareness to drop into your jaw and neck.
To feel directly from this space,
As this space.
Like a cloud of knowing that is without direction.
Without direction,
Without a center.
But somehow in the quantum presence of awareness is able to notice the sensation of your jaw and your neck.
As you take a breath and allow this bubble of knowing to now drop into your shoulders and traps.
Upper chest.
Upper arms.
Armpits.
This bubble of knowing is not attention stretching down from your head,
But awareness from the location we're talking about and directing to.
As this location.
A quantum presence that knows from your upper chest and upper back and upper arms.
To drift into your elbows,
Chest,
Mid back.
Noticing the sensations of the movement of the breath in the body directly.
As if the center of your awareness has moved to be in the center of your torso.

Drifting now into your belly.
Lower back.
Organs here.
And your forearms at the same time.
Wrists and hands.
You start to notice that the experience of this part of the body,
Especially your extremities and your hands.
Feels more lively.
Allow this,
Just receive.
Just with the intention of awareness now,
Allow this bubble of knowing to drift into your pelvis.
Into your hips.
Into the direct experience of your buttocks on the chair.

Now allow this bubble of knowing to drift into your thighs,
Both thighs together,
Upper thighs.
In and around your thighs.
Like this bubble of knowing has no center,
No edge,
But it has a focal point of your upper thigh.
And as you feel the direct experience of this part of the body come online in your awareness.
You notice an ease and subtle bliss experienced in the body that you haven't noticed before.
Allow this to permeate as you drop into your lower thighs,
Both thighs together.
And drifting into your knees.
Noticing the gratitude,
This part of the body that supports us with never any judgment,
Never any complaint.
Gratitude for our knees.
Known from the knees as the knees,
Both knees together.
Taking a breath and allowing this bubble to drift into your shins and calf muscles.
As you do this you start to notice already that your feet are coming online before you even get there.
And allow this bubble to drift into your lower legs,
Ankles,
Upper feet and both feet together.
Awareness of both feet together as a bubble of knowing from this location as this location.
You notice that there's an experience of being aware of not just the sensations within the skin,
Within the anatomy of your feet.
But you can feel the energy around your feet and between your feet.
Acknowledge this for yourself.
Like the qualities of this experience are more wave-like,
Subtle energy-like.
No big deal,
Just receive.
Nothing to do,
Just intend for awareness now.
To be curious about the space between your feet.
And without going up to thought to check,
Just directly experience and acknowledge awareness is aware of the space between your feet.
And allow awareness with its intention to expand to include the space beneath you,
Behind you.
To the left.
To the right.
In front of you.
Deep into the ground.
And allow this bubble of knowing to take up more space in the room that you're in or in the nature and natural space that you may be in.
And allow this bubble to expand and take up more space in the room.
Take a breath and allow awareness to become more interested in the space in the room as it climbs up against the walls,
Includes everything and reaches the limits of the ceiling.
And then awareness turns around to become aware of itself.
This is the most important shift.
Be more curious about the space in the room and the space in your body.
Maintain balanced quantum presence,
Quantum awareness in the space in the room and the space in your body at the same time,
Simultaneously.
The intention of awareness,
Commit to three minutes of balanced quantum awareness in the space in the room and the space in your body without going up to thought to check.
Hold this balanced awareness.
For three minutes.
If there's any subtle conditioning pattern of going up to thought to check,
Just bring it back down,
Open through your legs,
Become aware of the space and aware of the space in the body and maintain 50-50 balanced awareness.
This resets the circuit to allow an automatic quantum presence to be your direct experience.
Two more minutes.
At some point,
If your experience feels like there's no outside,
No inside,
Or no inside,
No outside,
You're on the right track.
Abide in a balanced quantum awareness that knows both the space outside and inside at the same time.
One more minute.
Check to see that your basis of operation is in simultaneous quantum presence.
Unhook from thought,
Drop into your body,
Drop out through your legs,
Become spacious and turn around to become aware of awareness itself in the room and in your body at the same time,
Simultaneously.
Notice an ease in your practice.
Notice an effortlessness,
Automaticity.
There is no meditator here.
We've just shifted the background of our experience into the foreground that it contains all our ordinary state to now be a quantum state.
With more ease,
More access,
More feeling,
Less self.
No center,
No edge.
As you bring this practice to a close,
Affirm the qualities of this ground and ask yourself.
