Accessing Timelessness This practice will help you access a deep,

Still,

Spacious,

Timeless presence that's already right here.

So take a breath and close your eyes,

Feeling into your breath.

As you breathe in through your nose,

Expand the belly to relax more and more.

Sinking into your body,

Giving yourself a break for the next 15 minutes.

Now,

Notice what it feels like to be in time.

Check your body,

Your emotions and your mind.

What does it feel like to be in time?

Does your body feel tight?

Does your mind feel busy,

Hurried?

Do your emotions feel stressed?

Are you responding from a lack of time?

Behaving from a lack of time?

Does it feel like you're being rushed,

Pushed,

Constrained?

When we operate out of a consciousness of time,

We feel tight,

Not enough,

Hurried,

Pressured.

Feel this for yourself.

Now take some extra breaths into your belly and allow yourself to notice the next rising breath,

And the next falling breath,

And the next rising breath,

And the next falling breath.

Continue to steer your mind to the felt experience of breathing.

With ease,

A natural breath.

Gather your thoughts.

Steer your mind back to breathing,

The felt experience of breathing.

And now notice,

When we use this dialectic,

This dialectic is attributed to Nigajna,

One of the masters of Mahamudra,

Who had a certain way of using dialogue to trip up the ordinary consciousness.

His timeless dialectic was one of the best.

And so just follow along,

Like being guided or pointed to follow,

With full trust.

Keep tracking the rising and falling breath.

And when the breath rises,

Take the view that the breath is already here.

As the breath falls away,

Take the view that the breath goes nowhere and stays here.

Every cycle of the breath,

Take the view as the breath rises,

That the breath is already right here.

And as the breath falls away,

The breath goes nowhere and stays here.

Continue to pay more interest to the rising breath,

Noticing that it's already here.

The falling breath,

Noticing that it goes nowhere and stays here.

The more you do this,

The more you'll notice,

Sequentially,

Easefully,

A leveling out of your experience.

And a sequential experience of timelessness as you continue to.

Noticing as the breath rises,

That it's already right here.

As the breath falls away,

Viewing the breath as staying here and goes nowhere.

We're reversing the typical,

Assumed and never questioned timing of the breath.

And negating that the breath is coming and going.

Continue to notice that the rising breath is already right here.

And the falling breath stays here and goes nowhere.

Already right here.

Stays here and goes nowhere.

Notice the flattening out of your experience.

Feel into this directly with your experience.

Not your thoughts,

Not your concepts.

The direct experience of the rising breath being right here.

The falling breath staying here and going nowhere.

It's already always been here.

What this does is open up a field of awareness that is unchanging,

Timeless.

Where you're experiencing from is not subject to time or change or aging.

There's no beginning,

There's no end.

The objects and sensations and phenomena in the field of your knowing are subject to change and time.

But your knowingness is not.

So with your next breath,

Let go of trying and access timelessness right here.

Let everything go into the ocean of timelessness.

This pervasive,

Always right here,

Changeless,

Timeless field of knowing is your true nature.

Recognizing it is the path to liberation beyond being trapped in time.

Remember what it felt like to be in time.

And now compare it to what it's like to be out of time,

Without being in time.

Gone beyond time.

You may already be experiencing spaciousness and boundlessness.

Time and space are connected,

So this is normal.

But be more interested in the rising breath that's already right here.

The falling breath that stays here and goes nowhere.

And you'll automatically feel all this energy vibrating in your extremities.

As your body,

Tensions and contractions ease up to allow the wave-like radiant energy in your feet,

Hands and lips and around your body dance in freedom.

Accessing timelessness right here.

Because it's your nature,

There's nothing you need to do.

Accessing timelessness is the cure for our hurriedness,

Our stress.

May this practice benefit you in many incalculable ways.
