Hello beautiful soul,
And welcome to this guided meditation that will help you shift your thinking and your energy out of the darkness and back into the light,
And help you remember that just because you have a thought doesn't mean it's true.
So let's get still,
Quiet your mind,
And release those negative thoughts so that you can move forward through the rest of your day feeling light,
Peaceful,
And positive.
I'm so glad you're here,
Dear one.
Get yourself comfortable in a seated position with your feet firmly planted on the floor and your palms face up,
Resting softly on your lap.
And then whenever you're ready,
Gently allow your eyes to close.
Bring your awareness to the surface beneath you,
And feel where your body makes contact with that surface.
Feel into that contact.
Feel the weight of your body as it is supported by the surface beneath you.
Feel the dual sensation of your body being pulled down and being held up.
Let yourself be carried.
Let go,
So that you can be supported.
In order to be supported,
You must let go.
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale,
Let go even more.
Inhale,
Let yourself be held.
Exhale,
Let go of holding.
And now bring your awareness to the floor beneath your feet,
And feel where the bottoms of your feet make contact with the surface below them.
Feel into that contact.
Feel the weight of your feet as they sink down into the surface of the floor.
Feel that dual sensation again of your feet being pulled down,
While at the same time being held up.
Take a deep breath in,
Let your feet be supported,
And exhale,
Release any tension and any holding.
And now bring your awareness to your hands,
Feel the back of your hands making contact with your thighs beneath them.
Feel the weight of your hands as they sink down into the surface of your thighs that hold them.
Let your hands go,
And let your hands be held.
In order to receive support,
You must let yourself be held.
Inhale,
You are being supported right now,
And exhale,
Let go,
Release.
You are not required to hold your hands here.
You must let them go,
So that you can let them be carried.
Feel the truth that your body is in this moment,
Right here,
And right now.
Let the contact of these three points ground you ever so deeply,
Ever so lovingly into the arms of this present moment,
And allow yourself to breathe slower,
Deeper,
Softer.
As your body occupies this present moment even more.
Your body is here,
In the now.
This is true.
This is real.
This is simple,
And it's perfect.
Let yourself breathe into the perfection that this present moment holds.
Let go,
So that you can be held.
Let go of anything that is not this perfect present moment,
Right now.
And now,
Bring your awareness to your thoughts.
Where do they live?
What are they made of?
Where do they make contact?
Can they be held?
Notice how they are not truly here.
Notice how they are not really real.
Notice how they are complex and confusing,
Made of nothing,
Residing nowhere,
And yet influencing everything and active everywhere.
Compare their intangible,
Elusive and abstract qualities to the real and true and simple essence of this present moment.
Only this present moment is real.
Every thought,
Every belief,
Every feeling,
Every everything that is outside this real and true and perfect present moment is a choice.
Make a choice with your thoughts.
Make a choice with your beliefs.
Make a choice with how you want to feel.
Your mind.
Your choice.
Your heart.
Your choice.
Your one and only precious life.
Your choice.
Remember how powerful you are.
Take some time here to stay present with your breath and to feel all negative energy and unsupportive thoughts and beliefs continue to float away as you exhale.
And as you inhale,
Continue to amplify the thoughts and the feelings that feel really good and really nourishing and really supportive.
You are so powerful,
Dear one,
And you are so loved.
Let every last drop of those elusive thoughts and intangible beliefs just drip away and dissolve.
And then whenever you're ready,
Come back to the room and gently open your eyes.
