Hello beautiful soul,
And welcome to this guided meditation that will help you get calm and centered,
Where your mind can relax and come to stillness.
Our minds are running all day,
Every day,
With 60 to 70 thousand thoughts per day.
It is important to let your mind think those thoughts from a place of open,
Non-judgmental,
Loving awareness,
A place of presence.
So let's get still and let your mind rest.
I'm so glad you're here,
Dear one.
Get yourself comfortable,
Whether it's sitting or lying down.
Follow what feels good to you right now,
And then whenever you're ready,
Gently allow your eyes to close.
Bring your awareness to your feet,
And let your feet relax.
Bring your awareness to your knees,
And let your knees relax.
Bring your awareness to your belly,
And let your belly relax.
Continue up through your chest,
And let your chest melt and relax.
Bring your awareness to your shoulders,
And let your shoulders soften and relax.
Moving up with your awareness to your neck,
Let your neck release any tension and relax.
Moving up to your jaw,
Let your jaw relax.
And moving up to your head,
Relax the back of your head,
The sides above your ears,
And let your face relax.
And now,
Let the top of your head soften and relax.
Take a deep breath here,
And soften and relax your breath.
Let your mind ease into this place of softness and relaxation.
Quiet in the mind is not something that we can do,
Instead we must allow the body to let go and relax,
And let the mind join it here.
In this present moment,
Take another soft and gentle breath here,
And then on the exhale,
Allow your body to relax even more.
Relaxation is not a demand,
It is an invitation.
Let your breath invite your body to relax even more.
And just observe your body relaxing,
And observe your breath breathing.
There is nothing you need to do to quiet your mind.
It does so by itself,
When you stay in your body and stay with your breath,
And allow your awareness to stay in this present moment,
And each present moment that follows.
Take some time here to just be exactly where you are,
Exactly as you are,
In the here and the now.
And then whenever you're ready,
Come back to the room,
And gently open your eyes.
I hope this meditation helped you ease into a place of quiet stillness,
And I hope you feel calm and present as you move forward with the rest of your day.
Thank you so much for listening,
Dear one.
Have a beautiful day.
