Hello beautiful soul,
And welcome to this guided meditation that will help you relax into the feeling that your life is flowing beautifully and unfolding perfectly.
It's so easy to feel frustrated and irritated and anxious when we are so focused on trying to control everything,
And trying to get things right,
Fighting against life,
As we try hard to convince it to bend to our will.
Yet the fight is in the fight itself,
Not so much what we are fighting against.
So join me now in letting go of your inner battles,
As we relax together,
Let go,
And let flow.
I'm so glad you're here,
Dear one.
Get yourself comfortable,
Seated or lying down,
Whichever you prefer.
Let your body decide what it needs,
And then whenever you're ready,
Gently allow your eyes to close.
Become aware of your body as it occupies the space around you.
Feel the volume of it as it occupies space.
Feel the weight of it as it rests firmly in that space.
And when you get a really good sense of the heaviness and the steadiness of your body as it fills up and sinks into the space around it,
Then become aware of your breathing,
By taking a deep,
Intentional breath in,
And letting it go with a soft,
Intentional exhale.
Place your attention on the inhale.
Place your attention on the exhale.
Stay with the breath.
Stay present with as many full and soft cycles of breath as you need to,
As you invite your body to completely relax.
Extend the invitation.
Create the space.
And then let your body do what it needs to do for as long as it needs to,
To really sink into that deep state of relaxation.
Let it fall into relaxation.
Don't force it.
Deeply,
Full,
Filling inhale without force.
And gently,
Re-leasing exhale without force.
The word lease stemming from the Latin word,
Laxare,
To make loose.
Full,
Filling,
To make full.
Inhale,
Let the breath make your body full.
Let the breath make your body full.
And exhale,
Let the breath make your body loose.
Let your breath take hold of the reins,
And stay present with it as it continues to make your body full and make your body loose.
It does the making,
The molding,
The shaping.
You do the allowing,
The letting,
The flowing.
The more you let the breath flow,
The more your body can soften and let go.
Fill your body,
Take up space,
Feel the weight.
And soften your body,
Letting go,
Feel the release.
Your body is the raft,
Your breath is the river.
Without the river,
The raft cannot be carried.
Without the raft,
The river has nothing to carry,
They need each other.
Let your body be carried by the river,
Your breath by the river.
Carried by your breath,
Let your breath support your body.
The fixed and the flow,
Working together in perfect harmony.
The fixed,
The physical elements,
The circumstances,
The events,
The things you call your life.
The raft.
And the flow,
The unseen elements,
The energy,
The expansion of consciousness,
The things that are not things,
That make up all of life.
The current,
The river.
As you feel your one and only body,
Occupying this one and only present moment,
That is experienced through your one and only life.
Release to the river any weight that may be holding you back from allowing the flow of life to carry you forward.
Any heavy thoughts,
Any heavy worries,
Any fears,
Doubts.
Any insistence that life adhere to a set of shoulds or shouldn'ts.
Let it all go.
Trust that you are being carried.
Trust that you are being supported.
Trust.
Breathe in that sense of support.
Breathe out that sense of trust.
Take some time here to enjoy these final moments.
Take as much time as you need.
And then whenever you're ready,
Come back to the room and gently open your eyes.
I hope this meditation helped you feel deeply relaxed and deeply supported and feel into that sense of trusting the current of life.
Thank you so much for listening,
Dear one.
Have a beautiful day.
