Hello beautiful soul,
And welcome to this guided meditation that will help you feel into the energy of miracles.
As Albert Einstein famously said,
There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.
We need not wait around hoping miracles will happen.
We just need to simply,
Though not always easily,
Hone our minds to see that they are happening already.
That they are always around us,
When we are centered in the present moment,
And paying close attention.
So let's do that here today,
Dear one.
I'm so glad you're here.
Get yourself comfortable in whatever position feels good to you right now,
And then whenever you're ready,
Gently allow your eyes to close.
Take a deep breath in,
And let it go.
Breathe in slowly,
Fully,
And exhale slowly,
Softly.
Continue breathing in deeply and gently.
Breathing out,
Release.
Nothing to do,
But let go.
Let your breathing settle into its natural rhythm.
Move from a place of directing your breath,
Into observing your breath.
Pay attention to how your breath moves through your body.
Your breath and your body.
Working together,
Without working at all.
Now bring your awareness to where you feel the breath moving the most.
Do you notice the wave of air as it moves in and out through your nose?
Do you notice the wave in your chest as it expands and contracts?
Or do you notice the wave in your belly as it rises and falls?
Focus your attention on the one area that calls to you the most,
And stay there.
Rest there.
Observe the soothing rhythm of your breath,
And then let it take you deeper.
Let it draw you closer.
Let it invite you to notice sensations you may have never noticed before.
Maybe it's how your skin stretches,
Or your muscles move.
The bones in that area,
How still or not still they are.
Does the area feel soft,
Or tight,
Or tingly,
Warm or cool,
Or something in between?
Or does it feel like nothing?
And then what does that feel like?
So much is happening,
Always,
At all times,
In ways you've never noticed before.
Ways you hardly notice as you go about your life.
There is so much to discover,
Not through your effort,
But through your attention.
The belief that nothing is happening,
Based on a quick glimpse,
A hurried and distracted glance across the thin surface of what is visible,
Cuts us off from the countless things,
The all and the everything that is happening,
Below the surface of what can be seen,
Or outside the narrow experience of what is tangible,
Explicable,
Or practical.
There is so much more.
What our minds perceive is happening,
Is a mere fraction of what is happening,
Beyond its language and principles of logic and reason.
There is so much more happening.
So what else is happening,
Beyond what you can easily perceive right now?
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale,
And bring attention away from your body,
To the space around your body.
What else is happening here?
What molecules,
Waves,
Particles,
May be there,
Dancing,
Floating,
Existing just outside your body,
And then extend that awareness to the space you are in,
The room you occupy.
What else may be happening below the surface of what is initially perceivable?
Instead of fixing your attention on one thing,
Let it stay open to everything.
Experience this sense of nothing in particular,
Yet everything altogether,
And extend that awareness beyond the room you occupy,
Further and further away,
From a singular experience,
Into a universal experience.
Be so here,
So that you can be everywhere.
Be so tuned in to the miracle of this moment,
So that you can tap into the miracles within all moments.
Experience the miracle that is now,
So that you can expect miracles,
Always.
Take some final moments here to be in this energy of miracles.
Breathing deeply and softly and joyfully.
Take your time,
Bring your awareness back to the room,
And gently open your eyes.
I hope this meditation helped you access the feeling of miracles everywhere and anywhere,
In this moment,
And in all moments.
It's not if miracles happen,
But when will you open your eyes to them happening all the time.
Thank you so much for listening,
Dear one.
Have a beautiful day.
