Confidence Reset Meditation

In this meditation, we take a moment to recenter, tap into our inner knowing, and accept that we are okay exactly how we are. You can do this meditation anywhere when you need to feel a boost of confidence.

Transcript

Let's take a moment to re-center,

Tap into our inner knowing,

Our sense of I'm okay exactly as I am.

So you can do this sitting or standing,

Whichever position you're in.

Feel a string at the very crown of your head pulling you upwards,

Straightening your spine.

And as you do this,

Take a nice deep inhale all the way to the bottom of your lungs and a nice slow exhale.

And another deep inhale,

Feeling your stomach expand on the inhale and then pull your stomach in a little bit as you exhale.

Feeling the breath coming into your body and slowly exhaling.

And on the next exhale,

I'd like you to think about relaxing the space in between your eyes.

Just relax that part of you as you exhale.

And another deep inhale.

And on the next exhale,

Relax your jaw.

Feel all the muscles of your face relax.

Now with that nice tall spine,

I'd like you to drop your shoulders and pull them back just a little bit,

Pulling your shoulder wings a tiny bit together.

In the back so your chest opens.

Keep your chin in a neutral position,

Straight ahead.

Feel the confidence of this pose,

Chest open,

Shoulders relaxed,

Face relaxed,

Chin forward.

And let's add a tiny,

Tiny smile.

Take a deep breath in,

Bringing to mind,

I'm okay exactly as I am.

I'm capable enough.

I'm okay enough.

I'm enough.

Feeling your feet on the floor,

Really bring your attention to the bottom of your feet,

Whatever.

If they're in socks,

They feel the socks.

If they're on the floor,

Feel the floor,

Feel the support of the earth.

And know you can bring this confidence with you throughout your day.
