Transcript

Welcome to this guided meditation.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

Then gently and slowly exhale.

Allow your body to relax and your mind to settle.

Begin by bringing your attention to the present moment.

Notice the sensations in your body.

Feel the weight of your body against the chair or floor.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling gently through your mouth or nose.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to become more present and aware.

Now,

Gently bring your awareness to any emotions you are experiencing right now.

Emotions are automatic reactions to external stimuli.

They are like signals from your body,

Preparing you for action.

Notice if you feel any tension,

Warmth or other physical sensations.

These are your body's responses to emotions.

Emotions and feelings are closely connected,

But they are not the same.

Emotions are the body's automatic reactions,

While feelings arise when we become aware of these reactions.

Take a moment to observe any emotions you are experiencing right now.

Bring your awareness to the physical sensations associated with these emotions.

Consider how different people might interpret the same emotional sensation differently.

For example,

One person might feel awkward at a party because they don't know many people,

While another might feel excited to meet new people.

Reflect on how your own mental interpretations shape your feelings.

What is your mind telling you about what you are feeling right now?

How is your body responding to it?

MINDFULNESS Mindfulness helps us stay present and aware of our emotions and feelings.

It allows us to respond calmly and skillfully to situations.

Imagine the scenario where you feel a strong emotion,

Like anger,

For instance.

Instead of reacting passively,

Take a deep breath and observe the emotion.

Allow it to be there without judgments.

Think of a recent occasion when you felt a strong emotion.

Bring this memory to your mind and observe the physical sensation you experienced.

Notice how your body reacted.

Now,

Reflect on how you interpreted these sensations.

Did you label them as fear,

Excitement,

Or something else?

Consider how your interpretation influenced your response.

Allow yourself to see this experience with fresh eyes,

Understanding the difference between the automatic emotional reaction and the conscious feeling that followed.

Emotions and feelings are like colors on the canvas of your life.

They constantly change and evolve.

Embrace them as part of your human experience.

Allow yourself to paint your life's canvas with purpose and figure.

Trust that your awareness will guide you in making decisions aligned with your truth.

As you come to the end of this meditation,

Take a moment to thank yourself for this practice.

Acknowledge the insights you have gained about your emotions and feelings.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this awareness with you as you move through your day.

You take care,

My friend.

Namaste.
