Hello my love.
Welcome to my meditation.
My name is Anumeha Upalkar.
And today.
We're going to release shame and embody authenticity.
Take a slow,
Gentle breath in.
And allow yourself to settle into the quiet presence of your own energy.
Feel the support beneath your body.
Feel the softness of this moment.
Feel the expansion available to you here.
Now before we begin the meditation,
Let's talk about how shame shows up in our life,
In our mind,
In our bodies.
Shame tends to live quietly within our body.
It can feel like hesitation before speaking honestly.
Like over-explaining your emotions or dimming your excitement before anyone has the chance to misunderstand it.
Or like feeling deeply connected to a dream and then suddenly questioning whether you are allowed to want it at all.
Shame can live within the tightening of the chest when receiving attention,
Within the discomfort of being fully seen,
Within the urge to become smaller,
Softer,
Easier,
Quieter,
More digestible.
It can feel like apologizing for your needs before expressing them,
Or like carrying the emotional weight of proving your worth before receiving love,
Or like holding your desires carefully instead of fully allowing yourself to belong to them.
And over time,
The body begins carrying these emotional imprints as tension,
Contraction,
Heaviness and guardedness.
So just for this moment,
Allow yourself to notice where shame has been sitting within you.
We're not analyzing or fixing or rushing.
We're simply observing.
Notice whether your body feels protected around your heart or whether your stomach feels tight around desire.
Whether your throat holds unspoken truths.
And notice whether your shoulders carry the weight of becoming who the world expects you to be.
Breathe deeply into these spaces now and close your eyes.
Take another deep breath in.
And breathe out.
Now visualize and feel your breath moving through the body like calm waves at the beach.
This water is softening every place that learned to contract around visibility,
Love,
Abundance,
Expression,
Intimacy and truth.
Feel yourself entering a beautiful open space within your inner world.
A space filled with warmth,
With light.
Stillness and safety.
Now visualize that in front of you.
Stand the vision of yourself that has carried shame for a very long time.
This version of you seems tired from carrying emotional weight that was never meant to define your identity.
Notice what this version of you has been holding.
Is it the pressure to be perfect or the fear of being misunderstood?
Or is it the ache of shrinking your truth?
Or exhaustion from performing for worthiness.
Or is it loneliness of hiding parts of yourself in order to feel loved?
Just observe.
Now see the current version of yourself.
Gently walking towards this version of you.
With compassion,
Tenderness,
And understanding.
Give that version of you a tight hug.
And as you hug them,
Feel layers of emotional happiness beginning to dissolve from the body.
Feel shame loosening from the chest,
Softening from the throat.
Feel it unraveling from the nervous system and leaving the body like smoke dissolving into light.
Your body no longer needs to carry emotional identities that were built through survival.
Feel freedom and lightness returning to your body.
Feel your chest opening naturally,
Your jaw softening,
Your breath deepening.
Feel warmth moving through your heart and feel life flowing through you again without resistance.
And as shame leaves the body,
Authenticity begins rising naturally.
As you feel this feeling of authenticity,
It starts feeling like a relief.
Like your body is finally fully exhaling.
Feel yourself standing taller without effort.
Feel your energy becoming calmer and clearer.
Feel the steadiness of no longer abandoning yourself internally.
Notice how your body feels when you no longer hide your desires from yourself.
Notice how your heart feels when love,
Abundance,
Beauty,
Intimacy,
And expansion feel emotionally safe to create and receive.
Authenticity feels open within the body.
It feels warm and grounded and alive and connected.
It feels like moving through life without constantly editing your existence.
Feel yourself fully connected to your natural energy now.
Connected to your depth,
Your softness,
Your desires,
Your voice,
Your presence,
And your truth.
Feel the beauty of existing without emotional armor.
There's nothing to prove,
Nothing to protect ourselves from,
Nothing to suppress.
Only the liberating feeling of being fully connected to yourself.
Take one final deep breath into your heart and allow this feeling of openness,
Of emotional freedom and embodiment to move with you gently throughout the days.
As you do this,
Notice how much lighter life begins to feel when your body finally experiences the safety of being fully,
Beautifully authentic.
You may now gently open your eyes and I hope you carry this energy with you for a long long time.
I'd like to recommend that you use this meditation every day for seven days to see better and stronger results in terms of the embodiment process.
Now,
Thank you so much for meditating with me.
I hope you have a great day.
Namaste.
