Start to draw your attention inwards and bring your attention down towards your lower ribs and your stomach and try to inhale as deeply as you can into that area of your body.
This is a way to just quickly relax the nervous system and take it out of duty mode into relaxation mode,
Signifying to your body,
To your mind that you're safe.
You're safe and secure and that you want this meditation to work.
You want this introduction to your system to start to allow the old patterns that are not serving you to release from your system and to begin to install and replace them with new updated patterns that are serving you and your family in a more harmonious way.
So before we go deeper,
Just allow yourself to bring relaxation to your entire body with your intention,
Starting with the top of your head,
Imagining that the skin that surrounds your skull could relax,
You could relax your forehead,
The sides of your face,
Even behind your eyes.
See if you can allow behind your eyes to relax even more as if your skin was just hanging off of this skeletal system,
Letting your whole body surrender to gravity and moving your attention down your face so your jaw relaxes,
Your neck,
All the muscles start to soften.
In the back of the neck might even feel like it gets a little bit longer by dropping the chin and then bring that focus of the relaxation to imagine that the sides of your shoulders could relax,
All that weight responsibilities is just melted away.
Allow that relaxation to move down your arms.
Maybe you notice there's tingling in your hands as that relaxation moves all the way through the fingers and then see if you can allow your chest to relax even more as you expand the breath into that part of you.
Allow the muscles in your back to soften.
And even though they're still holding up your whole system,
Just allow them to surrender now,
Imagining that all of those vertebrae are aligned with ease,
Your lower back,
Your hips.
See if you can let those relax even more.
If there's any tension there,
You don't have to force it,
Just see if you could breathe into that part of you.
Bring your focus to your thighs,
Imagining that your thighs,
The backs of the legs could relax.
And that light moves all the way down over the knees,
Backs of the knees,
All the way down through the toes.
So now your whole body just feels relaxed,
Illuminated.
This new version of you that's getting updated.
And now I'd like you to imagine in your mind that you're at the top of the staircase and this staircase is one that you will build.
You may not be able to exactly picture one,
But just imagine your ideal staircase out of marble or bricks.
Build it to your liking,
Choosing the materials.
And then pretend that you're standing at the top of the staircase and there's 10 steps down.
And as I count down from 10 to one,
Going down this staircase will take you to a deeper level within yourself.
And at the same time,
Relax even deeper.
Taking one step down,
10,
Allow your body to drift and sink deeper into relaxation.
Nine,
Feeling your muscles relax,
Surrender to that surface below you,
Sinking down deeper.
Eight,
Drifting,
Sinking down deeper and deeper.
Drawing a curtain in your mind to the rest of the world that all can wait.
It's your time now to relax,
To reprogram,
To become this better updated version of you.
Seven,
Sinking down even deeper into relaxation.
And at this time,
If you feel like there's any more weight that you're carrying with you,
Just drop it off the stairs.
Weight from the past,
Weight from others' bad habits that have been magnetized into you,
Just brush them off like dust.
Continue down the stair of six,
Taking another step down deeper and deeper.
Again,
Seeing if you allow yourself to take off anything else that doesn't feel like it's you anymore.
Maybe those habits did serve you to give you some type of framework for being empowered.
Now you know how to be empowered in other ways.
Don't involve any type of manipulation.
Now you find it easier and easier to be direct,
Gentle with your words,
Any type of commands they come across in a very effective and polite manner that are received with grace.
Five,
Taking another step down deeper and deeper.
Again,
Seeing if you can shed any of those dark habits that feel like they're restraining you.
Just take them off like old socks and throw them off the stairs.
Five,
Sinking down even deeper to your ideal level of relaxation.
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
You're walking now in a beautiful forest,
Soft grass beneath your feet,
Trees so high that they're touching the sky.
As you walk through the forest,
You feel this wind that's moving through your hair,
Blowing your face,
Your eyelashes over your ears.
And this wind feels as if it's just cleansing your whole system,
It's moving right through you.
All of those old habits that were installed in you just from the way you were nurtured or lack thereof.
And it's as if merging with this element just makes it all so simple,
Takes away that tightness of those patterns that were debilitating you or making you feel contracted and allows you to expand now into your better ideal version of a mother.
And just test now how much more space there is inside of you as you breathe in,
Feeling that soft breeze on your cheek,
That expansive feeling now that's in your stomach and your ribs.
And this wind has the ability to remind you how easily change can blow into your life and how 30 seconds,
Even 10 seconds of breathing in this fresh awareness can shift the neurology that used to be wired to saying something that actually wasn't even yours to say,
It was just from memory.
So now breathing in this fresh air it's as if it rewires that neuron to say something that is aligned with what you mean and what you need.
Existing as your own sovereign self and starting with just this tool of allowing this element on our earth of the wind to breathe in effective communication and breathe out anything that doesn't serve you.
Breathing in that inspiration to be a better version of yourself every single day and breathe out any of that stagnant energy that was in there.
Fusing your breath as a vacuum,
See if you can locate those habits or that program that perhaps was installed in you genetically to survive.
But now your family has already paid the price for using that type of behaviors to get what they need or to survive and you no longer need those mechanisms to communicate.
You can communicate with your own intellect,
With your own version of compassion.
Breathing in that intention to your body and breathing out that old stagnant pattern.
Again,
See if you could locate it like a vacuum with your breath.
Breathing out that old energy that no longer serves you and just breathing it out.
Inhaling in deeply into the stomach and exhaling out and then start to rub your hands together and slowly back into the body.
Thank the wind,
Thank that deeper awareness of you that is allowing and calling out for this transformation to permeate on the deepest level.
So you know now that it's already triggered this process,
It doesn't stop here.
Every day and every way you'll get better and better with communicating,
Stating your needs,
Kindness,
With clarity and confidence.
Welcome yourself back into your body by placing your hands on your stomach,
Expanding your breath there,
Feeling your power center,
Feeling so much power in your body,
In your awareness and in your intention.
To live and be the best version of you.
Whenever you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Feeling whatever is beneath your feet to come back into your physical reality exactly where you're meant to be.
