
Illuminating Inner Presence-Calm And Focused Meditation

Enhancing your Consciousness for Light Within-Your Luminosity. More often, we are seeking light outside of ourselves, so this meditation is designed to go deeper within ourselves and activate our own source of light. Guided body scan and breathing to activate your inner portal of love and calm.

And we're going to start the meditation doing a luminosity technique.
So luminosity is bringing the awareness of light into your body and so often we hear the light being outside of us,
Looking to the light,
To the sky,
To the sun.
So to reclaim some of that power for ourselves,
Let's try to bring it inside and taking a deep breath.
And as you exhale,
Decide to let the tension leave the physical body.
And maybe even say to yourself,
To your mind that you're ready to let the tension leave your physical body.
And the mind will still come in with other things to think about or do,
But just gently press that aside and tell it that now is time to let the tension leave.
All that matters now is to take slow,
Calm breaths.
And inhaling as deep as you can into the ribs,
The stomach area to feel that expansion.
And to exhale out all of the tension.
And as you inhale,
Let it almost be like you're looking for where the tension is to send the breath to that area.
And then as you exhale,
Let the tension leave.
And let yourself just honor this time to take slow,
Calm breaths.
And you're telling your mind now that you're going to turn on your imagination and imagine that there is a protective light that is around your body.
Some believe that this is your auric field,
Your energy field,
Whatever resonates with you.
Just imagine that this protective light of your essence is around your body,
Almost as if you were glowing.
And with each inhale,
As the breath expands,
Imagine the life force around you expands.
And as the life force around you expands,
That reminds all of the unnecessary tension to leave your body.
Because this light is keeping you safe,
Present,
And grounded.
And this light,
This energy field around you is yours to cultivate.
So you can breathe into it and assign it the intentions that you wish to.
To embody or to magnetize into your life.
Just imagine that that was possible.
Inhaling,
Feel the expansion in your body.
Feel the light around you also expanding,
Focusing on the legs now.
See if your legs could relax more as you expand the breath to the lower half of your body.
And as you inhale,
Imagine that that light expands through the bottoms of your feet,
Through the calves,
The shins,
The knees,
The thighs,
Grounding you into this lower half of your body.
And feel that sensation of security as the light surrounds you,
Allowing the tension to leave with the exhales.
And on the inhales,
Allow that light to expand through all of the muscles,
All of the bones,
Through all the layers,
And forms that protective shield around you.
And that shield filters in what is necessary to process and what is not.
And we may have normalized a lot of the anxieties and anxious thoughts running,
Thinking they're keeping us responsible or accountable.
And now at this practice,
We're reminded of what neutral can feel like and trusting that what needs to be dealt with will be dealt with in the appropriate way.
And we're reminded of what is necessary to process and what needs to be dealt with in the appropriate time.
And imagine that this protected light now goes all the way from the tip of your head,
All the way to the feet.
Just keep pretending you can imagine that.
Imagine that light expanding and imagine the light brightening on the exhale.
Imagining it even goes into your back,
The light behind your head,
Behind your neck.
Keeping you safe and building your awareness,
Your body awareness behind you and around you.
And see if you can allow the muscles in your back and your spine to align,
To soften.
Just giving them permission to drop the tension.
All the energies that it protects you from,
Allow now to feel this calm,
Security,
Relaxation.
And now focus the attention on your heart center and allow the light to find its way to the chest,
Your other intelligence center of the body.
Letting the mind have a break and taking the elevator down to the heart.
So you feel the energy expand around your chest,
Around your shoulders,
From the heart center.
Expanding this light as a protective shield.
And just like you're always protecting the ones that you love and your family,
Now it's time to protect your own love with this light.
Imagine it could radiate out to fill your chest,
To permeate and transmute any tension,
To bring a soft,
Protective glow around your heart.
And tuning into magnetizing all of those micro sensations of relaxation.
Looking for the areas in your chest and upper back that could release this glow.
And let the breath soften any areas that you didn't even realize were holding tension in your chest.
And if there's any spaces in the chest that feel heavy,
Just continue to send the light as you exhale.
And giving that part of you permission to release tension.
And these areas of tension may have protected you in the past from getting hurt,
But now if you're a maturity and want to be a maturity and want to be a maturity,
If you have the wisdom,
You no longer need that tension to protect you,
You have your awareness.
Tuning in to the chest,
Tuning in to every micro sensation of relaxation and allow the light to flow from the core of your heart,
Of your chest outward.
And feel the relaxation flow from the center of your body to your back,
All the way down to your hips,
Your legs,
And just taking any movements to encourage the light to flow and how your body now is enclosed in this shield of light.
And feel each space of the body begin to relax even deeper as you are surrounded now from head to toe in this protective light.
And there may be some distractions or worries still in the mind or tension.
Just allow yourself to see the spaces in between those.
Noticing the distractions,
But allowing each breath to assist you to draw out the distractions.
And imagine that all of those stress just leave the mind for this moment that they're physically released.
And that this protective shield helps you filter out what comes back in.
And as you inhale,
Expand the protective shield,
Focusing on any areas that maybe need it more.
And draw the light back inward and allow it to brighten.
And allow this protective light to also be a magnet for more peace,
More peaceful thoughts.
And when your mind has that peace,
Then you are also alert.
Become a magnet of being alert,
A magnet of focus.
And just because you're focused doesn't mean that you can't also be relaxed in your body.
Not permitting your body to hold on to unnecessary tension.
And anytime the mind's distracted,
Just notice what arises and then bring awareness back to the embodiment of the light and the protective shield of the light that surrounds your body.
You're calm,
You are aware.
Become aware of this feeling of being safe and protected by your own awareness,
By your own shield of light.
Enjoy this feeling.
And with this protective light that surrounds you,
Now you have permission to go even deeper inside of yourself.
I'd like you to imagine that you're going into a big,
Beautiful house.
And this house may seem familiar because it represents your inner world,
Your consciousness.
Just imagine what it looks like,
What color you would paint it,
What shape the windows would be.
And there are three levels down in this house when you go inside.
And the first level is complete physical relaxation.
So as you enter the house on the first level,
You notice all of the things around you that remind you of physical relaxation.
Allow yourself to just go even deeper to imagine what those would be.
A jacuzzi,
A lounge chair,
A hammock.
And allow yourself to just choose one of these things that represents physical relaxation.
Feeling the weightlessness of your body,
But also the awareness.
And being in this house,
It's representing relaxation.
You feel as if you could breathe with your entire body now.
As if you could inhale and exhale through the arms,
Through the stomach,
Through the legs.
Letting go of all of the tension.
And your body can now feel weightless.
And then you decide now to go to an even deeper state of relaxation to travel to the second level of the house.
And you'll find that there's an elevator that will take you to the second level that is complete mental and emotional relaxation.
So you hit the button in the elevator and you feel that it drifts you down deeper and deeper so every joint,
Every muscle feels relaxed.
And you get to drop down from the rest of the world,
Even though you may still hear voices or cars.
But none of the sounds matter.
Because now it's just time to lead you in to your own basement,
Your dreams,
To the second level of complete mental and emotional relaxation where your mind is at ease.
And you look around and see the colors that represent your emotional relaxation.
Soft blues,
Subtle shades of magenta,
Soft oranges.
And all of the windows are open on the second level.
And you feel that soft breeze touching your ears,
Your nose.
And this breeze is able to carry away any of the heavy thoughts,
Any of the mental patterns of anxiety.
Just imagine they get swept away.
And part of you may feel like you need to hold on to them because that's what keeps you responsible.
But now you know that it's not necessary anymore to hold on to those repetitive,
Anxious thoughts.
Because here in this deeper state,
You just allow yourself to release,
To let go,
And let yourself sink deeper and deeper.
Because in this place,
There's no logic.
The only thing that matters is for you to relax,
Heal,
And allow your body to do what it can be possible of doing.
Allowing that clarity to pass through your mind,
To pass through all of the layers of your face,
Giving that relaxation now move through your head.
And now it's time to go to the third level of the house.
So you get back in the elevator and take it to the third level,
The deepest layer of your consciousness.
And on this level,
You'll see that there's a control panel.
It's almost like a big remote control where you're able to program the levels of your awareness.
So you can see that there's the anxiety levels that are turned up pretty high.
Just imagine you turn those down,
Just like you would turn down the volume on a remote.
And noticing what the other buttons are labeled.
See what comes up for you.
Feeling grounded.
Turning up the volume on that level.
Feeling present.
Content.
Turning up the volume on that level.
Being aware.
Conscious.
Turning up the volume on that level.
And noticing the other levels.
That also needs some tweaking.
Turning down the levels on criticisms.
Turning down the levels on worry.
And activating the button in the middle that says tranquility.
And just imagine how your body responds to this program and allow that protective light to seal in these changes.
Inhaling to let the light expand and memorize this state.
And then when you exhale,
Allow that light to expand.
To magnetize what is meant for you.
To magnetize the opportunities,
The abundance,
And the ability to be the best version of you.
And feeling that sensation of security envelop you.
And permeate every cell,
Every layer of your skin,
Of your awareness down into the deepest core that runs through you.
And now you will find your way back into the elevator of the house to go down to the main floor and step outside into the backyard.
Feeling the soft grass underneath your feet as you step outside.
And imagine that through the bottom of your feet,
You could grow roots to nourish and connect you to that innate wisdom that the earth has.
And the energy of the earth,
The pulse of the earth,
Can seem slow or heavy at times.
Sometimes that heaviness is very welcomed and necessary.
And so now allow that welcome heaviness to move through your body.
To sink down.
To allow the shoulders to drop.
To allow all the muscles on the back to melt downwards towards the hips.
So the hips and thighs are relaxed.
And allowing the bottom of the spine to just be magnetized also towards the earth,
Towards the floor.
As if it could also grow roots from the bottom of your spine and allow that welcome heaviness to move through your seat,
Your legs.
And then that connection that stabilizes you and prevents you from doing anything that would not be aligned.
Allowing you to feel connected,
Nourished,
Supported.
And even though you're rooting down,
Feeling that welcome heaviness as your muscles melt down,
As the tension builds,
As the tension drops,
Somehow it also lengthens your upper body.
You feel the back of your neck lengthen.
The top of your head lift up towards the ceiling.
All the muscles in your face relax and your jaw drops.
And just let your awareness ping pong.
To the opposite of those sensations.
The welcome heaviness that draws you down into connecting with the floor,
The earth.
And then the lightness that draws the top of your head up and lengthens your neck.
Building that sense of integrity all the way through your body.
And your shoulders drop down with that heaviness.
And the sides of your shoulders lengthen all the way to the sides of the neck,
Up to the sides of the face.
Bringing that sense of lightness and calm into the upper part of the body.
And allowing any movements that encourage that process.
Turn your attention to your body,
Reawakening.
Gently moving your body a little bit.
Sealing in the effects of this practice.
And gently rubbing your hands together when you're ready.
Placing them on any part of your body that feels like it wants more attention.
Thanking yourself for this investment that will pay off in moments when you least expect it.
Setting the intention for the rest of your day.
And whenever you're ready,
Just slowly coming back into the room.
And just reminding yourself of who you are,
Where you are.
And allowing yourself to fully come back into your room.
And enjoy the rest of your day or night.
