Welcome.
You may have heard of yoga or meditation.
But what about cheek gums?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese martial art.
That combines.
Gentle movement.
Breathing.
And mindful awareness.
To support your wellbeing and cultivate a sense of balance.
And flow.
So the word cheer is often translated as life energy.
While gong being played.
Skill or practice.
So together,
Qigong can be thought of working with you.
And cultivating our energy through simple,
Mindful movements.
So what makes Qigong unique?
One of the things I love about Qigong is that it doesn't require special equipment.
Flexibility or fitness.
The movements are often quite slow,
Gentle and accessible.
So it makes it suitable for so many of us.
Going through our stages of life.
Chikang Rinning consciousness.
Us to move with awareness.
Softness.
So just take a deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Mindful movement practices such as Qigong can really help to reduce stress.
Improve balance.
And support relaxation.
And many people find that confining movement with the breathing.
Really helps them to feel more grounded,
Present.
And connected.
To their bodies.
