Welcome to the power within you.
Just take a moment to settle in.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
There is just this moment and you exactly as you are.
So take a moment to feel the support beneath you.
The chair,
The bed,
Or the floor.
Whatever is holding you right now.
Just notice how it feels to be supported without having to do anything at all.
So make sure you're in your comfy space warm and cozy.
Close your eyes gently and just feel your body beginning to soften.
Notice the space around you and the quiet sounds nearby.
Feel the temperature of the air against your skin.
The light beyond your eyelids.
Just let yourself arrive into this moment slowly and calmly.
The rush.
Just let your day become a little quieter at the edges.
Now bring your awareness gently back towards your body.
Just feel into those areas where you might be holding on today.
It might be in your jaw,
Your shoulders.
Maybe it's around your chest.
Or in your belly.
And just notice for a moment.
And just say softly inwardly.
I'm here.
I'm listening.
So take a slow comfortable breath in through your nose.
Just let it leave gently through your mouth.
Breathing in.
And breathing out with a soft sigh.
Breathe in.
And as you breathe out create a little more space.
A little more permission.
To soften.
Let your next few breaths find their own rhythm.
Breathing in.
And easing.
Breathing out.
Letting go.
Breathing in ease.
Breathing out,
Letting go of any tightness or stress or tension.
Now let each exhale carry you away.
Just a little of what you no longer need to hold on to.
Sometimes our nervous system simply needs a clear gentle message.
That it is safe to soften.
And one way that we can offer that message is through the exhale.
So for your next few breaths just let your breath out become a little slower.
Then your breath in.
No counting needed,
Just a soft lengthening.
So breathing in naturally.
And breathing out slowly.
Breathing in.
.
.
And a longer,
Quieter exhale.
It's as if you are gently turning down the volume inside.
Place your hand over your heart.
Or your belly.
Just feel the warmth of your own touch.
There is something quietly reassuring in this simple contact.
A hand.
A breath.
This moment of kindness towards yourself.
And just let your breath move gently beneath your hand now.
Just sense the movement.
The rising expansion.
The softening.
The rising.
The softening.
The gentle touch.
And as you continue to breathe.
Imagine that you're making a little more room inside yourself.
This is room to breathe,
Room to feel.
Room simply to be with you.
Your shoulders are softening.
Muscles in your face are loosening.
And your belly is releasing.
You are offering your body a gentler message now.
Because you're saying you can soften now.
You can take your time.
Wonderful.
So just bring your hands together and slowly rub your palms.
Not too quickly,
Just enough to create some warmth.
Notice the heat that is beginning to build.
Maybe a tingling sensation.
The subtle sense of energy and aliveness.
Now slowly separate your hands.
Just hold them a little apart.
And notice what you can feel between them.
More warmth,
A gentle pull.
A feeling of energy.
Or maybe it's just something that you cannot quite put into words.
And that warmth is something that is already within you.
A quiet inner resource.
A steady place.
It's something that has always been there,
Even on the days when you couldn't feel it.
You realize that it is already a part of you.
So bring your hands back towards your heart or somewhere that feels comforting.
Just feel that warmth now beginning to spread across your chest.
Through your shoulders and neck area.
That warmth is flowing down your arms.
Into your belly and all your vital organs.
Just feel that warmth down your back.
And your spine.
Apple.
Middle,
Lower,
The whole of your back.
Is just resting in this warmth.
Feel it now,
This warmth in your hips.
It's flowing down your legs and just feel the warmth reaching your feet and your toes.
It's like a soft wave.
Of steadiness that is moving through you.
And it's just bringing you gently back to yourself.
So take a slightly fuller breath in now.
Just let it leave you with a soft sigh.
Breathing in.
Breathing out,
Releasing.
And just let your body hear the sound of your exhale.
Just let your body know that for this moment it can let go.
Now take a moment to notice the places where your body is meeting the ground beneath you.
Your feet,
Your legs.
You're back.
Just the weight of your body that is resting here.
Just let this moment of gravity hold you.
Let the earth beneath you take some of the weight.
And just feel yourself here.
Because now you are so present,
You are so steady,
You are so supported.
Let's just take a moment here.
Feeling into your resting body.
Feeling how your body is supported.
And just feeling into how you feel.
You can just let go.
Let go right now.
And as you rest here,
Remember that you are able to return to this feeling.
And you can return to it through your breath.
Through your feet on the ground.
Through the warmth of your own hand.
And by taking a moment of stillness.
These are small and simple things.
And yet they can bring us home.
Home within.
And this is where your real strength lives.
It really isn't in keeping everything together.
But it is knowing when to soften.
When to pause.
When to listen.
When to rest.
When to come back to yourself.
And this is truly your power within you.
Feel the soft breath flowing in.
And the gentle breath out.
Just repeat these words either silently or out loud to yourself.
I can slow down.
I can listen to my body.
I can create space.
I can come back to myself.
And one more.
Calm is not somewhere far away.
It is something that I can return to.
One gentle moment,
One gentle breath at a time.
Just feel the echo of those words deep into your being.
Beautiful.
So just take a moment to notice your breath now.
Just notice your body.
And just feel how there is a little more space now.
More E.
A little more awareness.
A little more softness.
A little more calm.
So begin to notice the room around you.
The energy around you.
The sounds.
The air.
The support beneath you.
Gently roll your shoulders if that feels good.
Stretch a little.
And when you're ready,
Just let your eyes slowly open.
Take your time and just remember this.
You carry more within you than you realize.
Your breath,
Your awareness,
Your capacity to pause.
The ability to soften and return to you,
Who you are.
And that feeling.
Of these powerful treasures within you.
And they are all here.
Quietly waiting.
Within you.
Namaste,
My friend.
