Receiving divine wisdom,
A guided meditation on the crown chakra with Angelica Janic.
Welcome to this meditation focused on the crown,
The 7th and highest chakra in the body.
The location is at the top of the head and is associated with spiritual connection and consciousness,
Even enlightenment.
We will be going through visualization techniques,
Breathing techniques,
And affirmations.
This meditation will be 15 to 20 minutes.
So please get the appropriate props,
Pillows,
And blankets so you can sit comfortably in a seated position.
When you are ready,
When you are seated,
Close your eyes,
Allow the palms to rest down on the knees,
And start by taking deep mindful breaths in and out of your nose.
Tuning in with your body and with your mind today,
Allowing yourself to relax as best as possible and releasing any tension in your body.
Imagine a golden cord from the base of your spine,
Rooting down to the center of the earth.
This cord goes up through your spinal cord and comes out through the top of the head,
Reaching to the sky,
Finding length throughout the entire spine while relaxing your jaw,
Shoulders,
And belly.
Do your best to keep this long,
Tall spine throughout this meditation.
Visualize a bright white light radiating from the top of your head,
Expanding and filling your entire body with pure and divine energy.
Feel this light as it radiates with every cell in your body.
Feel and notice yourself becoming lighter and more connected to the universe.
Imagining a lotus flower blooming at the top of your head,
Representing your crown chakra.
See the petals opening,
Revealing a bright light within.
This light symbolizes your connection to the divine and the universe.
As you focus on this light,
Feel yourself becoming more open to receiving divine guidance and wisdom.
As you continue to visualize the lotus flower and the bright light at the top of your head,
Repeat the following affirmations within your mind's eye.
We will go through the three of them together,
Repeating them three times each,
With pause in between.
I am open to divine wisdom and guidance.
I am open to divine wisdom and guidance.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale out of the mouth.
I trust in the universe to lead me to my highest good.
I trust in the universe to lead me to my highest good.
I trust the universe to lead me and guide me to my highest good.
Lengthen your spine.
Inhale through the nose.
I am connected to the divine and the universe.
I am connected to the divine and the universe.
I am connected to the divine and to the universe.
Visualizing that bright white light at the top of your head.
Feeling the energy of these affirmations reverberating throughout your body,
Resonating with the crown chakra and expanding your connection to the universe.
Whenever your mind starts to wander,
Gently bring your attention back to the lotus flower and the bright light at the top of your head.
Visualizing the light growing stronger and more radiant with each inhale and expanding throughout your body with each exhale.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Visualizing the crown chakra,
Allow yourself to fully surrender to the divine energy flowing through you.
Letting go of any thoughts,
Worries,
Or doubts and trust in the power of the universe to guide you.
If there was an affirmation that stood out to you today,
Holding onto it for the remainder of the day,
Perhaps the week.
I am open to the divine wisdom and guidance.
I trust the universe to lead me to my highest good.
I am connected to the divine and the universe.
Stay open to the divine wisdom and guidance that surrounds you.
Counting your inhale for 5,
4,
3,
2,
Hold for 3.
Exhale for 5,
4,
3,
2,
Hold for 3.
Continuing to count your inhale,
Your exhale,
And your holds for a few more breaths.
You're welcome to stay in this stillness for as long as you need.
Only when you are ready,
Start to bring your attention back to your body first.
Small movements in the fingertips and the toes.
Rolling your shoulders forward and up,
Back and down a few more times.
Where the next time your shoulders come up,
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Letting them go out of the mouth.
Drawing the chin down to the chest,
Lengthen the back of the neck.
Finding full spinal column breaths.
Filling the base of your spine.
As you inhale,
Allow the energy to rise past the throat,
Right up toward the crown of the head.
Hold the peak.
Before exhaling,
Allowing the energy to slowly descend the same way it came up.
Two more visualization breaths like this.
Taking your palms to prayer just in front of the heart.
Breathing in gratitude for taking the time and practicing.
