Soulful journey,
A guided spiritual visualization meditation with Angelica Janic.
Finding a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
You may sit or lie down in a relaxed position with your eyes closed,
Taking your time to bring as many props,
Pillows or blankets that you may need.
Taking a deep breath in when you're ready,
And as you exhale,
Allow yourself to ground down in this moment.
Taking another deep breath in,
And this time hold it for a few seconds.
As you exhale,
Soften the skeleton of your body.
Taking another deep breath in,
Hold it for a few seconds.
Now visualize a bright light filling your entire body.
As you exhale,
Imagine that light is spreading out from your body and filling the space around you.
Be patient with yourself if your mind wanders,
Or if you are overwhelmed with thoughts today.
Listen to my voice.
Gently bring yourself back into your body by paying attention to your breath.
Now bring your attention toward your heart center.
Imagine a beautiful glowing light in the center of your chest,
Radiating outward.
This is the light of your soul,
Your inner wisdom,
And your connection to the divine.
Try not to move as you continue to feel this resonating light in and around you,
Creating a sense of calm.
Visualizing this light growing stronger and brighter with each breath you take.
As it grows brighter and brighter,
It begins to fill your entire body,
From the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
As if you are filling a glass of water,
Feel the light fill your entire body,
Feeling the sense of warmth and love of this light,
Letting it fill you completely.
If there are emotions that come during this meditation,
Allow them to be there.
Allow yourself to express whatever it is that you are feeling.
These emotions are temporary and they will pass.
Give yourself the permission to feel.
As you bask in this beautiful light,
Set an intention for your spiritual practice.
What do you want to manifest in your life?
What do you want to release?
What do you want to create?
Taking a moment to set your intention and hold it in your heart.
Visualize yourself in a beautiful,
Natural setting and how it smells.
Whether you are by the ocean,
The crisp of the air,
The softness of the sand or stones beneath your feet,
Or maybe you are in the forest,
Surrounded by trees,
You can see the mountaintops and small creatures running from branch to branch,
Taking in the sights,
Sounds and smells of this place,
Letting yourself become fully immersed in the beauty and peace of this natural setting.
As you continue to visualize yourself in this beautiful setting,
Imagine that you are receiving guidance and support from the universe.
Perhaps you even receive a message from a wise old tree or a vision from a passing cloud.
Maybe you can hear the bird as it sings a song to remind you of your inner strength and resiliency,
Reminding you that you can get through anything and everything in life that may come your way.
As you receive this guidance,
Perhaps message,
Let it fill you with hope,
Inspiration and great unconditional love.
Imagine that you are surrounded by a warm,
Loving light that is protecting and guiding you on your journey in life.
Taking a few more deep breaths,
And as you exhale,
Release any doubts,
Fears or negative thoughts that are holding you back.
Imagine them dissolving into the light around you and feeling more lighter,
More free.
As you continue down this visual path,
Now walking away from this beautiful,
Natural setting,
Feeling stronger,
Wiser,
And more connected to your inner truth.
Holding on to these nuggets of wisdom,
These tokens.
At any point when you are struggling in day-to-day life,
Carrying this sense of peace and love from this meditation,
Knowing that you are always supported and guided by the universe,
Taking a moment to pause,
Looking behind you at the visualization that you've created.
And as it starts to fill with a great beam of light,
You slowly bring yourself back into the present moment,
Scanning your body,
Tracing it from the crown of the head,
Down the sides of your face,
To the neck,
To the tops of your shoulders,
Down the arms,
Past the elbows,
Tracing out all ten fingers,
Right to the thumb,
Coming back up through the inner wrist,
Toward the upper arm,
Around the armpits,
Down the breastbone,
The lower lungs,
The belly,
The shape of the hips,
Some glutes,
Down your thighs,
Past your knees,
Calves,
Top of the foot,
Tracing each of the individual ten toes,
Until you get to the bottom of the foot,
On the heel,
Back up through the inner legs,
And when you reach the base of your spine,
Pause.
Taking an inhale,
Exhale,
Soften your body,
And allow a light to fill from the root,
Up through the spine,
To the crown of the head,
Allowing your breath to become lighter,
More full,
Maintaining this space of stillness for a couple more minutes,
Just on your own.
I will bring you back when it's time.
Taking a slow,
Deep breath in,
Exhale,
Extending the out-breath,
Before moving your body,
Just notice the difference from when you first started to how you feel now.
Taking your time to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Allowing the body to gather more and more movement.
Maybe you would like to hug the knees into the chest or find a full body stretch.
Gently begin to open your eyes,
Allowing the light to come back in,
Taking a moment to appreciate the peace and clarity that you've cultivated during this meditation,
And carrying it with you into the remainder of your day,
Knowing that you are always supported and guided by the universe,
By your higher self.
There is no need to feel scared or alone.
You are always being taken care of.
Inhale your shoulders up to the ears,
Exhaling out of the mouth,
Taking as much time as you need in this space.
