Communication and Authenticity.
Throat Chakra Healing Meditation with Angelica Janic.
The Throat Chakra,
Or Vishuddha in Sanskrit,
Is the fifth chakra located in the throat region of the body.
This chakra is associated with communication,
Self-expression,
And creativity.
When balanced,
We can communicate our thoughts and feelings clearly,
Express ourselves freely,
And feel confident about our ideas and opinions.
However,
When blocked,
We may struggle with communication,
Feel unable to express ourselves,
And experience a lack of creativity and self-expression.
Welcome to this 15 to 20 minute meditation.
We will be going through visualization techniques,
Breathing techniques,
And affirmations.
Due to the holds in between,
Please ensure that you find a comfortable position seated using as many props,
Pillows,
Or blankets that you may need.
When you are ready to find a comfortable and quiet place,
Find a seated.
Taking a few deep breaths to relax your body.
Letting go of your day and everything that has happened prior to sitting down for these moments of stillness.
Closing your eyes when you are ready.
And let's give ourselves a minute to tune in,
Listening to the sounds,
Scanning and connecting with the body,
But more importantly with the breath.
We will start by visualizing a blue light at the base of your throat.
As you inhale,
Imagine this blue light growing brighter and expanding to fill the entire throat area.
As you exhale,
Imagine any tension,
Negative emotion,
Or blockages being released from the throat chakra.
Imagine a cord,
A golden cord,
Rooting from the base of the spine,
Connecting to the core of the earth.
This cord runs through the spinal cord and comes out on the other side from the crown of the head,
Reaching up to the sky.
As you inhale,
Finding length,
Relaxing your shoulders down and back,
With your chin parallel to the ground.
Allow the breath to flow easy,
Allow the muscles and skin to relax and soften a little more,
Maintaining that visualization of the blue light at the base of your throat.
As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your nose,
Imagine the blue light flowing in and out of your throat chakra,
Bringing with it a sense of calm and tranquility.
Now,
Bring to mind any thoughts,
Feelings,
That may be blocking your throat chakra.
Maybe you struggle to communicate your thoughts and emotions with others.
Or perhaps you have a fear of public speaking.
Whatever it may be,
Acknowledge it without judgment or criticism.
Visualize this blockage as a dark cloud or a heavy weight in your throat.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine this blue light going stronger,
Growing brighter,
Breaking up the blockage and dissipating the cloud or weight.
As the blockage dissolves,
Imagine your throat chakra becoming clearer and brighter,
Staying grounded in your breath.
Inhale for 5,
4,
3,
2,
Hold.
For 5,
4,
3,
2,
Exhale for 5,
4,
3,
2,
Hold.
For 5,
4,
3,
2,
Inhale for a count of 5,
Counting the breath in your mind's eye,
Hold for 5.
For 5,
4,
3,
2,
Exhale for 5,
Counting the breath in your mind's eye,
Hold for 5.
With time and practice,
As your breath expands,
You could lengthen the count of your breath.
As you continue to breathe and focus on the blue light around the throat,
Repeat the one affirmation silently to yourself.
We will go through it together three times.
I express myself freely and confidently.
My thoughts and feelings are valuable and important,
And I communicate them with ease and clarity.
Relaxing your shoulders,
Lengthening your spine.
I express myself freely and confidently.
My thoughts and feelings are valuable and important,
And I communicate them with ease and clarity.
Lifting up the heart.
Let's do that once more.
I express myself freely and confidently.
My thoughts and feelings are valuable and important,
And I communicate them with ease and clarity.
Either repeating this entire affirmation several times,
Or sections of it that resonate with you.
Letting the words sink into your subconscious mind.
Imagining your throat chakra responding to the affirmation,
Becoming clearer and brighter with each repetition.
Continuing to visualize the blue light in the area of the throat.
Experiencing your ability to communicate your thoughts and feelings clearly.
Expressing yourself freely.
And feeling confident about your ideas and opinions.
With regular practice,
This chakra meditation can help you balance your throat chakra,
Improve your communication and self-expression,
Along with boosting your creativity.
Remember to be patient and gentle with yourself.
This meditation is a process that takes time and patience.
Trust the process and keep an open mind,
And you will soon see the benefits of this powerful practice.
Grounding down in your body,
Stay connected with your breath.
Full,
Slow,
And rhythmic breathing.
If you need more time,
You are welcome to stay for a few more minutes.
Otherwise,
With the eyes remaining closed,
Slowly start to come back to your surroundings by wiggling your fingers and toes,
Lengthening your spine,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Drawing the chin down to your chest,
Breathing toward the back of your throat.
Gently begin to blink the eyes open to allow the light back in.
Thanking yourself for showing up,
For your well-being,
And for doing this meditation.
Again,
Taking as much time as you need here.
