Angels of Light,
Beloved Ancestors,
Gracious God,
I come before you in this moment of deep need,
Feeling the weight of addiction pressing upon my heart and soul.
I have faced despair,
Loneliness,
And struggle.
To find my way out of this way of living.
The exhaustion,
The cravings,
The guilt,
And the shame have been overwhelming,
And I seek your presence for solace and strength.
May your divine light shine upon me,
Illuminating the path to recovery.
Give me the courage to face each day,
Each hour,
Or each minute if needed,
To continue being honest with myself,
And to continue being determined to have a better life,
Free of my addiction.
May you surround me with your love,
Providing the strength I need to resist temptation and find healthier ways to cope.
Help me acknowledge that my addiction is an attempt to fulfill unmet needs.
Help me understand I deserve to have a need to be loved,
To be happy,
To be excited,
To be beautiful,
To be peaceful,
To be calm.
And help me understand I can nurture my needs with healthier choices and not the substances.
May I find comfort in knowing that I am never alone on this journey.
In times of crisis,
When the cravings are strongest and the despair is deepest,
Please send your angels,
Spirit guides,
And the support of my ancestors to lift me up.
Let me feel their presence from my back,
Offering protection and guidance as I take each step towards healing,
Starting today,

Let me feel their nourishment from my front and let them fulfill all my needs to be loved,
To be calm,
To be peaceful,
To be nurtured as I never was.

Whether through friends,
Family,
Professionals,
