The intention behind today's episode is to focus on the present moment.
It's easy to get lost in thought,
Swept away by what could have been,
What might be.
All the while,
The present moment is slipping away.
There's a quote by Eckhart Tolle that goes,
Practice presence,
Embrace the place where life happened.
Because all we really have is the present moment.
We'll start by noticing the breath.
Notice how it feels to breathe in.
Notice how it feels to breathe out.
Not changing anything about it.
It's perfect just the way it is.
Become aware of your right leg.
Notice any pain,
Any sensations.
Just a simple presence of it being there.
Shift your awareness to your left leg.
Feeling how it feels,
Giving all your attention to your left leg.
Slowly move your attention up towards your belly and your back as well.
How does it feel right now in this moment?
Are you holding any tension in this area?
If so,
On the next breath,
See if you can let it go.
Shifting your attention to your chest and your upper back.
Noticing how it feels.
Feeling any tension,
Sensation,
Or feelings of relaxation.
And again,
If there is any tension in this area,
On your next breath,
See if you can let it go.
Inhale fully,
Exhale fully.
Shift your attention to your left shoulder and arm.
Oftentimes we hold a lot of stress in our shoulders.
If in this moment you're feeling any tension,
Gently roll your shoulders towards the back.
In an attempt to move that energy away from yourself.
If you found movement,
Bring your shoulder back to stillness and slowly shift your attention over to your right shoulder and right arm.
Gently rolling your shoulder back if you notice any tightness.
Bring your shoulder back to stillness.
Shift your attention to your neck and your head.
Taking the time now to notice if there is any thoughts going on in your mind.
Don't let the thoughts carry you away,
But just be the observer.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale fully.
At this time,
Become aware of your whole body,
Your vehicle throughout life.
I invite you to say these affirmations with me or let the words wash over you.
I am here.
I am whole.
I am present.
I am here.
I am whole.
I am present.
Once more,
I am here.
I am whole.
I am present.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale fully.
Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope to have you back for the next one.
Namaste.
