Hey there.
I've got a great practice for you today for those moments when life seems to fall apart a little.
Maybe a job didn't work out or a relationship ended.
Or maybe the future you imagined no longer looks the way you thought it would.
And you're left feeling like you've failed or need to start all over again.
If that's where you are today,
I'm really glad you're here.
This meditation is lovingly made as a reminder.
That it's never too late to start over.
So let's get comfortable in a seat or position of your choice.
Invite your breath to slow down.
Let your whole body soften Take a moment to thank yourself for taking this time just for you.
Let's take a deep inhale in through the nose.
And a longer,
Slower breath out through the mouth.
Once more,
Inhale.
And slow exhale.
And let your breath return to an easy,
Natural pace.
Notice the steady rhythm of your breath.
And allow your whole self to become stable and more present.
There's nowhere else you need to be right now.
Breathing in fresh clean air.
And starting from this point right now,
Every breath is a brand new moment to take in.
Every inhale has never happened before.
Every exhale is something you're releasing for the very first time.
The breath never asks for permission to begin.
It simply arrives.
Notice something new in your surroundings or internally.
Notice the sound you hadn't paid attention to before.
A place where your body meets the chair.
New feeling in your heart or a small sensation somewhere in your feet.
Stay a few moments observing the quiet rearranging of energy within you.
Simply notice how every moment offers something new.
On your next big breath in,
Release any need to figure everything out.
There's going to be many times where you'll need to start all over again.
But you're never defined by your losses or how things ended.
And you're definitely not too late.
What matters is that you continue moving forward.
Every time you start over,
You carry everything you've learned along the way.
As you wiggle your fingers and toes.
Begin to notice a little more life returning to your body.
Roll your shoulders back.
Sit just a little taller again.
Not because today is perfect,
But because today you're ready to start over.
Good luck and until next time,
Have a good one.
