It's been said that if you win the morning, you win the day. To win the morning, it's important to get up early and create the right energy. This meditation is designed to get you feeling great about your day. We'll start with a moment of gratitude, then do some mindful breathing before moving into our positive affirmations.

Hi,

I'm Fimo.

Welcome to this morning meditation that you can do while lying in bed or sitting upright.

I'd like to begin with a moment of gratitude.

And so,

As you close your eyes,

Think of three people or three things that you are grateful for in this moment.

Allow your entire being to overflow with gratitude as you visualize these people or these things.

And if it's comfortable for you,

Allow yourself to smile.

This is a new day and you are living it.

Your happiness begins with appreciating what you already have and as long as you have your breath you have much indeed.

As long as you have your breath you have everything.

Slowly begin to connect with your breath.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Breathe into your belly and notice how it rises.

Breathe out and feel your belly flatten.

Do this ten times at a rhythm that's comfortable for you.

Very good.

Now let go of your control over your breath and allow your body to breathe however it wants to.

Keep your attention on your breath,

Your natural breath.

And let go of your control over your breath.

Bring as much kindness and curiosity to the observation of your breath as possible.

And let go of your control over your breath.

Wonderful.

We're now ready to move into our affirmations.

I will say every affirmation twice and will pause after each one so that you can repeat it with your full voice or quietly to yourself.

I am making the most of this day.

I am attuned to the frequency of love and abundance.

I accept what is with no resistance.

Be with the feelings and sensations that may be arising in you.

As you allow gratitude to move through you once again,

But I invite you to stay in this space as long as you like,

Knowing that throughout your day you can come back here by simply pausing and connecting with your breath.

This meditation was soothing and also provided an opportunity for contemplation and renewal. I love the flow from connecting with my breathing in the first portion and then connecting the affirmations at the end to create a sense of balance and joy. This meditation is also accessible for any person across ability level and health challenges.
