Find a comfortably seated position.
Lower your gaze or close your eyes and let go of the rest of your day.
Give yourself permission to be here now.
Shift your awareness to your breathing and notice whether you're breathing in through your nose or mouth.
I invite you to step out of your body and to start witnessing.
Using your body's response to your breath.
Without controlling your breath,
Notice as you inhale and allow your exhalation to be long and effortless.
Wait for your body to breathe you.
When thoughts come into your mind,
Notice them as you would a cloud in a blue sky and bring your focus back to your breathing.
I invite you now to bring your awareness to the crown of your head and we'll scan your body making our way down towards our toes.
And so with each inhalation,
Notice the sensations within this part of your body.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any tension,
Any gripping that you might find in that space.
Exhaling your awareness to your forehead,
To the space between your eyebrows,
To your temples,
To your jaw,
Your ear canals,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your heart space,
Your rib cage,
Your lower abdomen.
Your pelvis,
Your glutes,
And your legs.
Remain focused on the parts of your body that are being supported by the surface that you're resting on.
Your glutes,
Your thighs,
The soles of your feet,
Perhaps the shins of your legs,
Depending on how you're seated.
Breathe into that space,
Imagine that as you're inhaling you're sending the breath into any part of you that is touching a supported surface.
Let go of any gripping in your lower abdomen.
Allow the abdomen to expand underneath your breath.
As you inhale,
You fill your lower abdomen with air and you send that air into the parts of your body that are connecting you to the earth.
Notice how the earth is supporting you.
Imagine little suction cups growing between you and the supporting surface.
With each inhalation,
That suction cup is gently growing and is adhering more and more to that supporting surface.
And through the suction cups,
Small roots are starting to emerge from your being and with each breath,
They're finding their way down into the earth.
As you inhale,
You're breathing in the earth element that feeds our body and helps us ground.
It nurtures our cells,
Our muscles,
Our bones.
With each exhalation,
Allow any stress,
Any tension to release,
To let go of your body and to find its way down into the earth where it can be transformed.
Inhaling,
Pulling up the earth element,
Exhale,
Letting go.
As you inhale,
That earth element finds its way through every cell in your being,
Knowing what needs nourishment,
What needs support.
As you exhale,
Visualize that whatever darkness,
Whatever stands in your way to being your true self is released,
Is being flushed out.
Imagine now that you're working from the parts of your body that are connected to the earth and that you're inhaling the earth element and you're working your way down towards the crown of your head and take as much time as you need to breathe in the earth element,
To flush out what stands in your way,
The stress,
The anxiety,
What doesn't serve you.
An answer is no.
.
As you reach the crown of your head,
Imagine that you've created a pure channel from your tailbone all the way through your crown of your head.
And so now as you inhale,
You're lifting the earth energy through your being,
Connecting it to your spirit,
To your higher self.
As you exhale,
You're bringing down your higher self,
The light that now can travel to every cell of your being,
Filling up the space that you've created from letting go.
Exhaling the earth,
Exhaling your spirit into your being,
Allowing the wisdom of your higher self,
Your authentic being,
To find the space within you.
Exhaling the earth,
Exhaling your spirit into your being.
And now once again reconnecting with the witness consciousness within you,
Observing what do you notice,
How do you feel right now in this moment,
What shifts have occurred.
Can you feel the energy within you?
And there's no judgment.
The being is where it's at.
There's no right or wrong.
But as we start paying attention,
Our being will start speaking and revealing how it's feeling.
And I invite you now to bring your awareness to your heart center and to feel or imagine the beating of your heart.
And from this place to reflect on something you are truly grateful for in your life.
And notice the sensations that are triggered by your sense of gratitude.
Rest with those sensations,
Allowing them to be expressed within you.
And from this space,
I invite you to set an intention for the rest of your day.
Namaste.
