You keep your eyes closed,

You start to observe the breath.

Feel the sensations within the nostrils,

Within the passages of air as the breath reaches down towards the lungs.

And you feel the sensations as the breath passes out from the lungs back towards the nostrils and then reaches back out into the atmosphere.

You feel the breath entering at the nostrils,

Then sensations as it passes down towards the lungs.

And the sensations again as it reaches out back towards the atmosphere.

You engage the mind on the breath as fully as you can,

Noticing the thoughts just drifting away.

Concentrating,

Focusing on the breath as much as you can.

Feeling the ribcage expand.

Feeling the ribcage contract.

And focus just at the tip of the nose.

Feel the breath enter at the nostrils.

Feel the breath leave at the nostrils.

And continue focusing the awareness on the breathing.

Breath enters,

Breath leaves,

Thoughts simply drift away and the mind becomes focused on the breathing.

Stillness grows within the mind.

As you feel a sense of peace by simply focusing the awareness on the breath,

You realise the insignificance of thoughts,

How they take peace away from the mind.

And you just let the thoughts drift away as it becomes more and more interesting to focus the awareness on the breathing.

You observe the ribcage expand as you breathe in,

Contract as you breathe out.

And the stillness in the mind grows more and more.

Feel the ribcage expand,

Contract.

You feel the breath enter,

You feel the breath leave.

More and more stillness grows in the mind.

Continue observing each in-breath,

You continue observing each out-breath.

And as the mind becomes more and more engaged on the breath,

As you realise the insignificance of thoughts,

As they drift away and the stillness grows within,

Just in your mind's eye you see a beautiful valley,

A beautiful banyan tree and a yogi,

An ancient yogi sat below.

He's facing complete stillness,

Complete silence.

And you realise that this yogi is at one with the entire universe.

He slowly opens his eyes,

Slowly looks towards you.

He moves his face and gazes towards the sea in a way which says to you to look and gaze towards the sea as well.

In your mind's eye you just observe the ocean.

The yogi tells you that deep within the sea is where the first life forms appeared,

The very first cell of life appeared here,

Deep in the ocean.

It divided,

Further life forms came.

Over time more complex life forms appeared as this cell of life continued to divide and divide.

You see this first cell of life on its path of division,

From the first creatures that would walk the surface of the earth as they left the sea.

That cell of life continued to divide and more and more complex life forms appeared.

And eventually that first cell of life entered into the first man,

The first woman.

And it continued to divide further and further until it reached within the body that you have now.

That yogi,

Full of wisdom,

Asks you to realize that the very first cell of life that appeared on the earth in the oceans is now within you,

Within this very body that you have now.

He asks you to see that you've spent your entire life looking,

Searching for answers throughout the universe when all of the answers,

All of the answers are deep within you.

You don't need to search or look.

He tells you you only ever need to close your eyes and you'll see the answers are here inside you.

The life that first appeared on the planet is deep within you.

And he asks you to search your heart further still,

To look at what created that life that's still inside you.

As he says these words,

Deep inside your heart you feel an energy,

An energy of love.

You connect to this energy of love deep inside your heart.

You look into the original cell of life that's deep inside you and you see that it's made up,

Consisted of love.

That the source,

The root of everything in this universe is love.

That first cell of life appeared because love wanted to appear on the planet.

Because of love the first generation appeared.

Love was handed down from generation to generation from that very first cell of life to the more complex forms of life,

To the first humans.

First humans passed on love to the following generation,

Who passed it on to the following generation again.

And eventually it passed on to you.

It lies,

Sometimes dormant,

Sometimes active in the centre of your heart.

It was always there and it was brought here by that first original cell of life that wanted to live,

Exist within you.

It's always passed down from generation to generation and it's the force of love that's kept the universe alive.

What's there in the first cell of life and it's been passed down through generations and generations.

The desire to live is brought about by the force of love and that first cell of life that contained the original spark of love,

Exists deep within your heart.

You see it here,

Feel it here,

Deep inside your heart and you know that you don't need to look or search for answers in the outside world anymore.

You only ever need to close your eyes and deep within your heart you will always find the source,

The first cell of life that multiplied,

Entered deep within you and brought with it the force of love that created the universe.

The source is always within you,

You don't need to look or search for love anywhere anymore,

Just know it's always deep inside you.

Keeping this feeling alive within you,

You rub both palms together,

Take them gently over your eyes and slowly move your hands away,

Opening your eyes.
