As the day comes to a close, we pause with three simple questions that help us reflect on how we showed up. This practice lets us appreciate ourselves, honour what we gave to the day, and learn how to meet the next one with even more presence and intention.

Hello there,

Beautiful being.

You can start by taking some relaxed and full breaths.

There's no need to force or strain the breath.

Whatever feels most natural to you in this moment is perfect.

This is a breath work designed to help you check in and review how you're showing up in the world.

You may find it most helpful at the end of the day,

But whatever time you found yourself here is the right one.

We'll be using a box breath of four counts,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth for three rounds.

At the end of each round,

You'll be asked a question to reflect upon to help generate awareness and gratitude and to help guide future action.

So finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting up or lying down,

Whatever feels most comfortable to you.

And we'll get to it in three,

Two,

One,

And in three,

Two,

One,

Hold.

And holding for 45 seconds.

And in this hold,

Ask yourself,

In what ways did I support myself and future me today?

How does it feel to know that you showed up for yourself?

And if you didn't get a chance to do that yet today,

Well,

You're doing it right now.

And preparing to let go with a nice big sigh in just a moment.

Let it go.

Great work.

Heading right into our next round here.

In three,

Take it in,

Nice and slow,

All the way in.

And in this hold,

Ask,

How did I help or support someone other than myself today?

And getting ready once again to let it go with a nice big sigh.

Exhale.

Our last round of breathing coming up here in three,

Two,

One,

And in three here.

Take it in nice and deep,

Nice and slow.

And hold.

And in this final hold,

Ask yourself,

What is one thing I can do differently tomorrow to be a better member of my community and the world?

And preparing to let go with a final big sigh in just a moment.

Let it go.

And allowing your breath to return to its normal rhythm.

Reviewing how we're showing up for ourselves and for others helps to enhance self-awareness and inspire future action.

Try practicing some kind of review like this every day for a week and observe the impact of doing so.

Thank you so much for taking part in this practice,

My friends.

Now get out there and share your unique gifts with the world.

Bye for now.
