Hello and welcome to this relatively short meditation that is meant to help you return to center in the midst of all activity.
You can use this at any time of the day when you feel as though you would benefit from returning to yourself and to your center.
So finding a comfortable position,
We are aware that we are here,
That we have a body that is likely sitting,
And bringing attention to the inflow and the outflow of the breath.
You might feel this most clearly at the tip of the nostrils or the upper lip,
The chest or the abdomen.
And let's keep our attention there as best we can.
The continuous inflow and outflow of the breath.
The breath is always with us so we can always return home to it.
Thoughts will come and go,
Sensations will arise and pass away.
We simply notice that and then return to the breath.
You are here,
You are breathing amidst all activity,
Here at the center of all experience.
And if the mind has wandered and been carried off by thought,
That's okay.
Simply notice that and return to the breath.
Okay.
Bringing once more to the inflow and the outflow of the breath.
Photos as we open hands and inside eyes.
And when you're ready you can slowly begin to open your eyes if they've been closed and become reacquainted with the world around you.
Thank you for taking this time.
Perhaps you're feeling a little sharper,
Grounded,
And closer to your own center.
Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll look forward to seeing you next time.
Take care.
