When I was asked for a meditation on manifestation,
One quote came to mind.
It's from Lao Tzu.
Nature does not hurry,
Yet everything is accomplished.
You see,
Before anything beautiful arises,
It first disappears.
The seed vanishes beneath the surface,
The roots reach in the dark,
Downward and inward.
And we wonder,
Is anything happening at all?
Manifestation isn't magic.
It's an intimate relationship with the unseen.
It's letting life prepare the ground before it grants the bloom.
And so often,
Just before the moment something takes shape,
We are asked to trust what we cannot yet touch.
So this meditation is for those tender,
Invisible moments,
The ones that feel like waiting,
Like longing,
Yearning,
Like stillness or stagnation.
The times when nothing feels like it's moving at all.
But you are moving,
You are rooting,
You are not behind,
You are becoming.
It's not just a truth about trees,
It is a truth about you.
So take a moment and close your eyes if it's comfortable,
Or soften your gaze.
There is something growing in you right now,
A desire,
Or perhaps you feel its presence but don't yet know its name.
And it's okay if it still feels far away,
All that matters is that it is alive,
All that matters is that it will root before it will rise.
So don't push,
Just listen.
What is it you truly long for?
Not what you've been told to want,
Not what you think will fix you,
But what stirs within you quietly and deeply.
And let this longing rise,
Not from lack,
But from your most rooted truth.
There's a pulse in you that's not from your heart,
But from your hope.
You were built to dream,
But you were also built to root first,
To rest,
To receive.
So clear a corner in your breath,
Your schedule,
Your chest,
And begin to feel it reaching out to you,
And tend to the doubt if it comes,
Simply smile at it as it's only trying to keep you safe.
And gently whisper to it,
It roots before it rises,
If it has a scent,
Smell it,
If it holds a shape,
See it,
And if it is truly your desire,
Embody it,
Embody it as though it's growing through you,
Not to you.
So become the space where it belongs,
It roots before it rises,
Let it live in your breath,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your back,
Let it feel held,
Let your body be a soft yes,
Nature does not hurry,
It roots before it rises,
You felt it,
You invited it in,
Now release the chase,
Drop the urgency,
Let the root grow deeper without needing to bloom yet,
For even the forest begins in darkness,
In stillness,
In trust,
This is enough.
And whisper to it as it leaves,
It roots before it rises,
Continue,
It roots before it rises,
Begin to make your way back,
Allow the space around you to reappear and take this with you as our end is near,
When the longing begins to reappear and you begin to yearn once more,
Know that your desires are directions,
And your manifestation will be its reply,
For what you root today in silence,
My friend,
Already knows how to arrive,
May your mind,
Your body,
Your spirit,
Be abundant with peace and patience,
Until next time,
Namaste.
