Oftentimes in life, we need to step forward and learn from our past, without going back and returning to what did not serve us. Move forward with confidence and know that you are not alone in the journey.

Come into a comfortable seated position.

Allow all the tension in the body to wash away.

Softly close the eyes or have a soft gaze.

And come into this moment.

We have all most likely heard the saying,

No turning back.

But what does that mean for you?

As we've grown,

Developed,

Experienced life and been on this journey,

We've found ways to adjust and adapt.

But when we look back,

We can see that where we are now is far down the trail from where we once started.

And on that trail,

We have met people along the way.

We have developed relationships and friendships.

Perhaps we have also heard from those that were once in relationship with us,

Friends,

Community members.

They're asking for a change of course.

They want you to come back to where you once were.

The way you were back then,

That gave them something,

Your energy perhaps was comfortable for them.

They didn't need you to change or grow.

However,

Knowing where you stand now on that trail,

You have grown and you're continuing to move on to newer ground.

You are ready to look forward and soar to new heights.

Of course,

It is common to have nostalgia,

To yearn for what once was.

You will always have those memories.

But encourage yourself to trust in this new trail,

Trust in this new journey.

The only way to higher ground is to move forward and there's no turning back now.

Once you reach that new higher ground,

You will be standing in the reward of all of your efforts.

Keep moving forward.

There's no turning back.

Remain in this space,

In this environment and this existence for as long as you need.

Whenever you are ready to end your meditation,

Do it slowly,

Methodically,

Ease back into the body.

And when you are ready to receive the world around you,

You can softly blink the eyes open.

Begin a deep inhale and enjoy that journey of not turning back.

Until next time,

Breathe easy friends.
